“Personifies Charm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

My husband and I spent 3 lovely nights at Hotel Campo de' Fiori, and we HIGHLY recommend this charming boutique hotel. Our prearranged car was at the airport to meet us, and the staff was so informative and kind to their arriving, exhausted guests. The hotel sits on the square, Campo de' Fiori which has a farmers' market during the morning and early afternoon hours, and outdoor cafes throughout the day. Our room was unique, comfortable, quiet, and air-conditioned, with a state-of-the-art shower!! The location is right in the middle of "ancient Rome", within walking distance to all major sights and venues. The hotel itself has a healthy breakfast in their downstairs library, and you can complete your busy day with a bottle of wine on their gorgeous rooftop. We will be returning to this ideal location on our next visit to Rome.

We stayed at Hotel Campo de' Fiori On 7 /23, 24, 25/ 2012. The service was great and the rooms were spotless. Maria made a wonderful breakfast for us daily and the front desk folks were amazing. Valentina, Gabarile, Mathew and Gianluca could not have been more professional and hospitable. From the moment we arrived everyone made our stay perfect.
One evening a rain shower surprised us as we and other guest were about to exit the front doorway. Well, one of the front desk managers, possibly Gianluca, stopped us at the door as he went out into the rain and ran up to a street vender who was selling umbrellas and he bought them. He returned to us in 2 minutes and handed out the umbrellas he bought. That was just one of the most appreciated moments this hotel showed us. It was conveniently located and was 2 or 3 doors down from a wonderful, vibrant Piazza with great food and street musicians.
The rooms were reasonably priced and most important, they were CLEAN.
We would recommend this hotel very highly for a safe, clean and happy stay in Rome.

This hotel was brilliant. It was convenient. The rooms, lobby and breakfast room were delightful and comfortable. I particularly loved the roof top garden which was a perfect place to unwind and watch the sun go down after a hot day and sight seeing. However the best bit of all was the staff. The were friendly and very helpful right from my time of booking until I left. A great two days in Rome and well recommended.

I have no complaints! This is a luxurious hotel and a short walking distance from everything. Hotel staff was wonderful, making fabulous restaurant recommendations, getting our laundry done in about 2 hours (about 3 euros per item), and giving good advice about everything. This was also a good value. Impossible to find anything comparable for the price in this location without other unexpected add ons. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

I can't think of enough nice things to say about Hotel Camp de Fiori and especially its staff!

I found the hotel through tripadvisor reviews, and after showing my husband their website, his response was "book it, book it now." And frankly, even the gorgeous pictures on the website don't do it justice.

A discounted rate is offered if you "like" the hotel's Facebook page. That was far and away the best thing I could have done in planning for this trip. After about five months of usually multiple daily status updates about the hotel, the staff, restaurants, attractions, Rome history, etc., not only were we excited about site seeing, but checking into the hotel was like visiting family. We were barley in the door, and Valentina was running out from behind the desk, crying out our names, to give us welcoming hugs!

The hotel is beautifully kept and decorated, charming, yet with modern amenities. Our room was, we felt, large for European standards, and looked out over the front of the hotel onto a smaller quaint courtyard. The room and modern bathroom were impeccably clean.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but that wouldn't be enough words to describe the view from the hotel's rooftop terrace. You can see 360 degrees over Roman rooftops and church domes.

The breakfast room in the hotel's basement is very nicely decorated, and the service is efficient and friendly. The breakfast offered exceeds the standard European Continental to include eggs and sausage, among other offerings. Made to order coffee, cappuccino, and expresso are a nice touch.

All of this doesn't even compare to the service of the staff. We can not thank them, or praise them, enough for assisting in making our trip so memorable. Not only did they take care of us while we were their guests (arranging transport from the airport, booking guided tours, recommending fabulous restaurants), but afterwards as well. We followed our stay in Rome with a cruise, and through email, the staff continued to assist us with our post-cruise transportation needs. Even though staying near the airport the day our cruise ended, we took the shuttle into Rome for once last dinner, and the HCdF staff made the reservations for us! Then, once we returned to our airport hotel, we realized my husband left his new fedora at the restaurant, and through a couple of quick emails the HCdF staff has worked out to retrieve it from the restaurant and ship it to us at home. This kind of service is priceless!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 201, which overlooked the front of the hotel and Via del Biscione (about 50 feet f...

We just got back from our honeymoon in Rome, the Hotel Campo de Fiori was a great place to stay.
The roof terrace was really useful, the perfect place to unwind or chill out after sightseeing, the location is really central and the restaurants and nightlife are brilliant. The hotel rooms have full soundproofing and air conditioning so the fact that the Campo de Fiori area is lively is purely a plus point, you get a fabulous nights sleep. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and I'd advise you to book your airport transfer via the hotel, it's about fifty euros and they provide an air-conditioned car with a helpful driver.

Dear guest,

“Great Location”,
being in Rome for your honeymoon, the research of the Hotel has been careful and our services had to be equal to your expectations.
As you stated “Campo de’ Fiori area is lively and purely a plus point” because it is one of the most central and populated area of Rome, this is why we have provided all our rooms with the soundproof windows: to let you enjoy the vibrant Roman life without renouncing to “fabulous sleep”
This area allow you to reach all the major sites with a short walk and we give you the possibility to “unwind on our rooftop terrace after sightseeing” bringing your own food or drinks along with a breathtaking view.
We care about our guest before the arrival, an example was our luxury car service with our private driver which picked you up at the airport driving you directly at the Hotel.
Every detail is fundamental to build up the dreaming and unforgettable holiday. We are aware of this.
Infact our whole work is committed to our full care of our guests.
We only wonder what we have missed to deserve your full rating
We look forward to welcome you in the future
Best Regards
F.Severino

This place is a gem. I stayed there at the end of May, and it was perfect. The location could not be better, right next to the Campo de' Fiori, which is a lively square full of restaurants and bars. During the day there are market stalls selling interesting things, and by night there is a wide variety of places to grab a drink or three. Pretty much everything you could want to see and do in Rome is within range. And somehow, despite being near to so much activity, the room was never anything but quiet and peaceful.

As nice as the location and room were, the best thing about this place is the staff, by far. I've stayed in lots of hotels in lots of different places, and have never encountered a group of people as helpful, friendly, and welcoming as the staff here. It was like being treated like a well-loved and revered family member. And without a hint of pretension - it never seemed forced, or like anyone was just reading from a script. It's honestly impossible to convey just how nice these folks are, go stay and see for yourself!

Rome is a great place, and this hotel is the perfect place to base yourself. I can't recommend it highly enough.
