“Small and cosy b&b”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We stayed four nights with my wife and we like to use smaller places. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Other quests were wery quiet. Everything worked well. Hostess Tina and her sister were nice and helpful. We liked to make coffee and Tea some times in the afternoon. We would have missed a little bit better sortiment for breakfast, ordinary bread, ham and cheese instead of sweet things as croissants. Instead we enjoyed in the afternoon the of Tasty pies made by Tinas mother. SIT bus shuttle was an easy and cheap way to get from airport to the vatican district quit near the Hotel.

Room Tip: Peaceful accommodation, like home, Fiendly service

I recently stayed at San Pietro Candia 25. The B&B/apartment was clean, safe, quiet and located very close (3 min walk) to the Vatican. Tina who helps manage the B&B was extremely friendly and accommodating. Although the staff is not there 24/7, nor is there a "front desk", Tina is easily accessible via email or phone to help with any questions. The B&B is located 2 minutes from a subway which can easily take visitors across the river into the Old City. I chose to walk EVERYWHERE, so it was a good 30 minutes or longer to get to certain attractions across the river, but worth it, as Rome has so much to offer and see around every corner! I would highly recommend, but be sure to bring your most comfortable shoes if you choose to walk like I did - in fact, bring 2 pairs :)!

This place was great! Spacious and immaculately clean! Bed was pretty comfy and had a good a/c. Small balcony was a special bonus and the wood furniture was beautiful. Tina the host was wonderful- so sweet and helpful. Location was excellent as was the price. It was a few minutes walk from the Vatican as well as the line A metro, but was quiet and peaceful after a chaotic day in Rome. Walking distance from several shops and eateries. Would stay here again in a second. The only minor draw back was the change of towels and renewal of soap/shampoo- we needed more than that but shower water pressure was great as was the hand held portion of the shower. The light breakfast with good coffee was an additional nice bonus. Absolutely a steal on price for such a great stay!

Room Tip: Ask for the Spanish steps room for the little balcony

Really enjoyed staying here. Rooms very clean, staff (Tina & sister Emilia) very friendly and helpful. A/C worked great in the rooms. Breakfast could be more complete, but okay overall. Very close to a metro stop and the Vatican Museum.

San Pietro Candia 25 was a great place to start our Italian holiday. Easy walking distance to Vatican City, and many other main attractions, and the train station, making the rest of Rome very accessible (train system was super easy to use - a day ticket is well worth it!). The room was a good size, nice and quiet, and very clean. Tina made us feel very welcome, and was very helpful, especially when organising us transport. We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a good Rome location. We would be happy to stay there again if we ever get back to Rome. My elderly parents stayed in the room next door, and they were very comfortable there too. Their room had a little balcony which they appreciated. There are a few stairs to negotiate to reach the B&B (seemed to be typical for everywhere in Italy), so this is something to be aware of if mobility is restricted.

Room Tip: There were only 3 rooms in this B&B, and all seemed very nice.

Tina made us very welcome from the moment we arrived and the accommodation was clean and in a great location, just a couple of blocks away from the Vatican walls. The metro station is a few minutes walk away so easy to get to from Termini.

A little hard to find as no hotel sign but look for number 25 and enter that courtyard. When I return to Rome I'll be returning here.

Room Tip: There's only 3 rooms and even the one we had on the road side was quiet when the window was clos...

It's a pretty clean and comfortable B&B, which makes you feel like at home. The room is equipped with a whole set of bedroom furnitures, as well as independent bathroom and free WiFi.
