I booked with Booking.com and specifically asked for a room with a balcony for 3 nights. Things began badly when the taxi kinly arranged by the hotel took me to the wrong hotel! I had to get another taxi to the correct hotel late at night. Not great for a woman travelling alone.
I went to my room on the 4th floor only to find it was tiny, NOT refurbished, very gloomy, NO balcony and an incredibly tiny shower with the strangest most ineffective hairdryer. Awful really. I was very unhappy. The night staff on the desk was lovely but as there were no other rooms available that night he couldn't help. The next morning I spoke to the day staff and was offered a lovely room, beautifully decorated, with a terrace and outdoor chairs and table - for a very small extra charge over 2 nights. Once in this room I really enjoyed my stay.

The location is great, there's a little cafe/bar next door and a very nice restaurant 'Cuba' just steps away. The staff are great, very helpful, especially Armando. Breakfast was a bit ordinary - packaged croissants, jams, meat pastes etc all packaged individually. The freshly made coffee was great though. There's a mini bar with limited choices and no glasses to drink from, and no coffee/tea making facilities in the room - though I went to the cafe/bar next door and bought coffee and little bottles of wine to enjoy on 'my' terrace.

I would definitely stay there again, but would be very specific about which room.!

We stayed 1 night at this hotel at the rate of 70 euro. A very nice hotel, with nice rooms and extremely friendly staff. I highly recommend this. A bit small rooms, but lovely baths.

Our room had a beautiful balcony that faced the via Torino. During the nights it rained, we would open the huge wooden shutters and soak in our gorgeous view of a bustling Roman street. The restaurant half a block down is a fabulous multi-course choice, and shopping on the via Torino and in the surrounding area is awesome -- everything from designer shops to farmer's markets all within two blocks. The room was a good size. We had two twin beds for our sons and the parents got the pullout couch, which was the only thing I can think to complain about. Everything else -- the breakfast, the staff, the bathroom, the neighborhood, proximity to a Metro stop -- was fantastic. It was quiet and comfortable. I would stay here again. The Termini station is only one stop away so sometimes we would just walk to Termini instead of taking the nearer metro stop. We loved Rome and this quaint, charming hotel was a big part of our pleasant stay.

Stayed there along with 11 year old son. Strange at first with reception on 2nd floor of building and rooms on the 4th. Great location for arrival in Rome. Took less then 10 minutes to walk and easy to find, just had to walk across the bus station outside the Termini Railway Station , turn left for a bit and then right when we came to the Via Torino. It's quite near the top of the street coming from that direction

Arriving after 9pm and not wanting to stray to far with youngster, receptionist recommended a really great traditional Trattoria a couple of streets away. Small Tabbacari/bar next door to the hotel for a nightcap as well.

Rooms have enough space to pass comfotably around the beds, but not much more, but you don't intend spending any time in your room apart from sleeping, or a short rest before going back out for the evening. Only English language channel i could fing on the telly was CNN. Beds were comfortable , and turned down for you, and the street outside was quiet at night and not that bad in the morning.

Breakfast was fairly basic croissants and tea/coffee/hot chocolate, but pleasant enough and served quickly in the breakfast room on the 4th floor.

Following two days, for sightseeing, we were just round the corner from the Republica Metro Station and found it easy getting about to the Coloseum first day and Vatican on the second day.

Although we had to check out on the second day, reception were able to look after our bags and we returned for them before heading for the airport bus.

Would have absolutely no problems with going back there next time I go to Rome.

Stayed in this hotel in a triple room.
As we arrived early in the morning the room was not ready yet but we could leave our luggage at the check-in desk.
The room was large enough for us, also with some space for our luggage in the small hallway.
Room was clean and there was an adjustable air conditioning so we could set the teperature we wanted.
The equipement was new and modern.
Breakfast was good. Large variety of jams, rolls, ham ... coffee, tea etc.

What I have to point out about this hotel, was the staff. They were very helpful, spoke perfect English, gave us a illustrated map of Rome, advised us how to get back to hotel using the public transport ...

Maybe the only problem was a rather small shower.
