Just returned from a four day three night trip to Rome staying at the Villa del Parco. Although the hotel is a little distance from the center of Rome, the public transport was readily available.We bought a Roma Pass from the hotel for 23 euro each which gave three day access to metro, bus and tram and also gave free access to the first two attractions with reduced entrance cost thereafter. The metro station (Bologna) is about ten minute walk and the metro system is very easy to use. The 84 bus is from opposite the hotel. We had a Superior room at the top of the hotel(lift available), which promoted the character of the hotel and was of a very good and comfortable standard.Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A word of warning if going this time of the year, be sure to take mosquito repellent.

This hotel is our of the hussle and bussle of Rome, just a bus pleasant bus ride from all the main attractions. It is relaxed and the staff are fantastic, they really go out of their way to help you, nothing is too much. Our room was quite compact and you had to pay for the TV but it was comfortable and the bathroom was huuuge with a really great shower - perfect from all the Rome walking! There is a great restaurant within walking distance that they recommended (The Green Pepper) which had the best pizza ever and no tourists, it was really great! I agree that being out of the city isoe of the strong points of this hotel and the price is really good value. The breakfast was good too. Have a great stay in Rome!

We recently came back from our trip, and we absolutely loved this hotel. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, and staffs were all friendly and helpful. You can even have breakfast outside if the weather is nice. The hotel is away from the main sightseeing sites, but the buses in front of the hotel will take you everywhere you need to be. We actually loved the fact that it was away from the sites, just to be away from all these tourists in Rome (because they're EVERYWHERE!) and you can find some really nice restaurants within the walking distance (that does not actually have tourists menu!) We highly recommend staying here if you don't mind traveling extra 15 minutes a day.

Although not in the centre of Rome, a very convenient bus service took us quickly to all the sites. The Staff were incredibly helpful and accomodating They could not do enough for us. Our particular thanks go to the Manager and Andreana (I do hope I have spelt her name correctly). A charming hotel with parking.
