I stayed here at the end of june for 4 nights. I had researched the hotel before we went and therefore knew that the hotel had been newly refurbished.
Getting to the hotel was easy, two busses from Termini Station and 25 mins from Piazza Paulo.
I was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed into a hotel that actually looks like the photos on their website. The rooms are of a good size and have an equally good sized bathroom. The rooms are clean with a mini bar (inexpensive in comparison to other hotel i have stayed in), kettle, internet connection via cable in room or wifi in the foyer, hairdryer and flat screen telly (if a tv is important to you). They also have a daily chamber maid service.
The hotel also has adequate parking, a restaurant, bar, and a gift shop. All very reasonably priced.
It's quite so you can be sure you'll get a good nights sleep.
Having read the reviews that mentioned the buffet breakfast served by this hotel. I must admit that yes indeed it was a pleasure to be offered such a delicious variety of fresh food. (both hot and cold and including fruit.)
The staff at this hotel are friendly, helpful and warm. Really good customer service.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a comfortable stay in Rome. Indeed it is a bus ride from the centre, but I must say that we did realize this before booking. Its perfect for people with young children, older people and generally anyone who doesn't mind traveling for 25 mins before you get into town. Im very happy with our trip to Rome and the Pisana Palace hotel made our stay very, very comfortable. I would like to return to this hotel on our return trip to Rome in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. The rooms were very clean, loved the flat screen on the wall....would of enjoyed more english stations (but we were in Italy!!)
The place had great a breackfast, we loved the selection.
It was easy to catch the bus, directly out front of the hotel. It was easy to get down town the tourist area, the last stop was when we'd get off....can't beat that, less confusion when we just arrive in Rome.
We took the shuttle from the Airport...make sure to look hard for the van and i'd advise call when you arrive just to make sure they know you're there. That part was not perfect but much better then paying 50 euro for a taxi ride!

The hotel is on the outskirts of Rome-most of the hotel guests were Italian, including school groups. A nice slice of Italian life. The breakfasts were enough to keep us through until an early dinner. Our room was large; the bathroom normal. While the hotel is not new or in the middle of town, we have find memeories of our stay there.

We were a bit worried going to pisana palace from some of the reviews we had seen but were pleasantly surprised. The hotel itself is a bit old but is undergoing a massive refurbishment so the reception is all new and modern. The breakfast buffet was out of this world with everything you can imagine on offer ... the bus is right outside and takes you to the centre of Rome in 15-20 minutes, we never had to wait for it once ! When we were leaving early for a flight the reception staff made us a packed breakfast and offered us a few esspressos, so friendly !

It is old, the carpet smells, but I am extremely sensitive to smells. Lots of space in our room. The hotel is going thru a major remodeling. The day we left the a/c was completely cut off, and it was horrible! They told me the remodeling should be completed by September 2008. it is taking up the hotel chain name of Holiday Inn.
I have to rave about their breakfast. Anything you can immagine is there. Staff friendliness varies from person to person. I was actually born in Rome so I didn't ask for too much directions.
Restaurant on premises. If you go a bit up the hill there are supermarkets and other shops. Walking will take at least 15 min. If you have a navigator you have better choices to eat. Near the Vatican and center of Rome. There is private parking in a small garage.
