“Great hotel out of the city centre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

The hotel was good had nice breakfast and great staff. Especially Omar at the front desk. We went over Christmas and unfortunately there were very few busses to the hotel. But there is a shuttle bus and the driver is great. Clean rooms, nice size. Very good lounge and dining. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

We had a fantastic time in Rome. The rooms were nice. Omar was super. He scheduled our tours for us and helped us with the transportation needed. We wouldn't have had as nice a time if it weren't for him and his staff. The hotel was a distance away from the sights but there were many options for transportation. Thank you for such a great and memorable time

My family and I went to Rome to celebrate New Year’s Eve. We had a big nice room for our two daughters, and me & my husband. The hotel is situated 20 minutes from the city and it was very convenient and cheap to take the bus. It was also easy to reach the hotel from the airport by train and bus. The hotel is clean and the staff at the reception was helpful, although not fully up-to-date on what was going on in the city around New Year’s Eve or able to help us get such information. At their restaurant it took ages to get food. Even though we went there several times the service was poor and the staff quite indifferent to us as guests. Breakfast served from 7 in the morning did not have omelette or sausages warmed up as the doors opened, and it and it took the personnel 20 minutes to take up order for and serve us our coffee. On another occasion we asked the waitress to please warm up our club sandwiches because we had received them cold the waitress was indifferent, uninterested to help, and finally arrogant, asking us if we were used to have the sandwich VERY HOT? So I dearly recommend a charm course to the restaurant staff or what about a much cheaper alternative: learn to kill the customer with decent service and a smile.

The shuttle bus service provided by the hotel is every 2 hours. Not enough to my opinion. Places are limited to 8. First come, first served... We had to be downstairs 30 min before the bus arrives to make sure we'd have a seat and also to catch the bus, because as soon as it's full, it leaves the hotel (even if departure was 20 min after). For the rest, the hotel is very good and the staff friendly and helpful.

I would like to say a massive thank you to the room manager he was very helpful and a fantastic help. Hotel was amazing me and my 11 year old enjoyed every minute of it. Yes it's alittle out of the way but once you have mastered to buses it's no bother. 881 outside the hotel and then get a 64 bus to near the collussm and more places to visit. This trip for part of my daughters christmas present and I can honestly say we would definitely go back. The only issue I'd say that needs addressing is I love a cuppa in the mornings but there wasn't any milk and when I asked some of the staff wanted to charge me for it. We had no issues with the food. Please don't keep complaining about distance from hotel to rome as if you want to pay a lot more for a hotel to be nearer rome then pay the price. Don't fault the hotel for this .five star from me and my daughter and we travel a lot. Happy new year holiday inn pisana

location good right across is a bus stop to the vatican , rooms are okay but the main con is it is not a four star as the walls are very thin and someone walking not he other floor makes noise in your rooms which is very strange …… first night had a sleepless night …. beds are good but the rooms had a strange smell and i felt housekeeping was not up to date .. breakfast was same all four days maybe they should change some fresh items for the people who stay longer .. some people in breakfast were angry coz of old bread n rotten bread ,,,,,,,,,,,,,one more thing a four star reception mostly had only one person on the reception which is strange a syou had to always wait for them to get to you ...

Room Tip: take back side rooms as wall is like paper and all sound comes inside ,,,,,,

Modern, Clean, Friendly. The location is about 5km from the Vatican, yet there is a bus stop right outside the hotel which costs 1.50 euro each way and take less than 30 minutes. The breakfast is wonderful, plenty of choice, lots of fresh ingredients and you can also request pancakes, omelettes, fresh orange juice etc. The staff are very helpful & friendly.
