Our experience was fine in this small, budget European hotel. We opted for the superior room, which included a small living area apart from the bedroom and rather large bath. The extra space of two chairs, a loveseat, table, desk and TV was welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Unexpected nice amenties were in the bath (soap/shampoo/ lotion/shower cap/heated towel rack). The desk personnel were delightful, multilingual, and very helpful. The elevator, AC, TV worked fine. Breakfast was typical fare, but edible. Location is on a very narrow dark quiet street 1 block from a major street and it was easy walking distance to Camp di Flori, The Panetheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, and everywhere in Central Rome. Easy access to excellent dining close by. We did not experience any safety issues as police were everywhere in Rome. It was a delightful experience and we enjoyed it very much! The hotel is a good value in high season in Rome,

Small hotel, with small but nice rooms, friendly staff, good basic breakfast. The location is great, 20 minutes from the Vatican in the West, 10 minutes from Piazza Navona to the North, 15 minutes from Trastevere in the South. Easy to reach from the airport: take a train to Station Trastevere. Take the tram to Argentina and walk for 20 minutes to the hotel. Meanwhile you will cross Campo di Fiori.

Simple and basic hotel. Expensive, but then central Rome generally is. Rooms are comfortable, if cramped, and facilities adequate for vacationers interested in seeing Rome, not sitting in the room. Breakfast is basic, but served with a smile and the staff are extremely helpful.

Recommended.

This was a good, basic hotel. Nothing fancy - just decent (smallish) rooms. Comfortable, clean, air conditioned. Breakfast in the morning was reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful. There's a small market around the corner for supplies.

As others have said - location is key...We walked nearly everywhere except the colliseum. It was nice to be able to take a night time stroll down to the campo d'fiori or the Piazza Navona from the hotel.

"we" is a family of 5 - took two rooms, a double and a triple. I'd stay there again, and recommend it. FYI - the hotel was able to arrange a driver to come pick us up fat the airport for not much more than a train - very nice to get a ride straight from the airport to the hotel.

The best feature of this hotel is its location. At the end of the street is the square of Campo di Fiori, a nice location with restaurants and bars, where you can hang out till late or just walk in 10 minutes to the area of Trevestere, where there is also a lot of things to do in the evening. The location of the hotel is very central in Rome, you can easily walk to all the sites within 10 - 20 minutes.

The negative aspect about the hotel is the quality. Rooms are very small, as are the beds (double beds are 1,60 m wide, so if you are two single travelers, get two seperate beds!) and the matrasses are hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom is also tiny, not for large people. You can live with this for a couple of nights, as there is much more to do outside of the hotel and you only get there to sleep.

Service is good, staff is nice and you get a freshly made cappucino made at breakfast.

Would I return to this hotel? No. Next time I would book a more expensive hotel at about the same location. I would rather pay 200 - 250 euro a night and get a better sleep and more quality than pay 180 euro per night for this hotel.
