You will absolutely love this hotel.

The rooms are large (we had a suite), located on the right bank of the Tiber; it's about a mile from the Spanish steps. Intimate hotel - perfect for honeymoon or anniversary stay. Just 80 rooms with antique prints, classic furnishings. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

The beds are so comfortable and your days are full of walking and private tours; so coming back to a big luxurious room and bedding was fabulous. Our secret, Donna Salerno, Travel Consultant, use google and track her down, we did and she has been doing our travel worldwide for quite some time. She did an amazing job piecing together some exceptional private tours of the city and threaded it with some other amazing places throughout Italy.

Even scored some of the opera tickets in Venice for us - really an amazing experience!
Rome has so much to see and do and this hotel is close to all the sightseeing, restaurants, nightlife and anything else you'd like to walk to see and do! The inside tip is the rooftop terrace - not to be missed!

big rooms with clean sheets and bathroom. near the vatican city and the other sightseeings of rome. the staff very friendly. the only negative that there was no lunch surved to the hotel

The rooms were huge within european standards, they were clean. Service was at times a bit "italian" (not very attentive and quick) but overall it was a good choice, the price was good and the location worked best for us - no noise but still close to everything.

We literally just got back from a long weekend in Rome staying at Dei Mellini and I wanted to confirm the excellent reviews we read here before booking the hotel.

We had a deluxe room with a king size bed for the stay which was hard to fault. Room was large and completely silent, the bed comfortable and the bathroom excellent. The staff were without fail charming and extremely helpful - Alessandro on the front desk went out of his way to make our stay better and was a mine of useful and accurate information. He also recommended a number of wonderful restaurants and we had complete faith in his advice.

All in all, if you are considering a trip to Rome then don’t hesitate - it’s a truly wonderful city. And whilst you are there, you could do a lot worse than stay in an excellent hotel which is in walking distance of everything you will want to go and see...
