“Great location and very friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

Taken some time to getting round to review this hotel but we had a great time very friendly reception team who made us very welcome even though I produced my Irish passport the day after the six nations game! Room was very large with plenty of space and very comfortable bed. Some decorating was going on near our room but this was not a problem and in fact they did not start work until we had left our room for the day's sightseeing so very considerate. Found it to be a good location to get to all areas with ease

A pleasant 3-star hotel close to Metro stop on the (famous) Via Veneto. Nice buffet breakfast and free wifi. Have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and keep returning because of the convenient location to Metro and Rome attractions.

Rooms are on the small side and some bathrooms are very small. Furnishings are adequate (even quaint). Rooms facing Via Veneto can be noisy with the window open. Hotel staff were always very pleasant and accommodating. Given the excellent location to Metro and key Rome attractions, this hotel is a bargain.

If your looking for a typical Roman inspired hotel this is the place.
Value for Money.. very reasonable.
Location wise.. very accessible to metro (barberini station, 3 stations away from termini) conveniently located along via veneto which is very close to Trevi, Spanish Steps and some other touristic spots.

Local roman restaurants are just few steps from the hotel. Osteria Barberini behind the hotel serves traditional roman cuisine.. their truffle inspired dishes are top notch! - a must try place!

Hotel Staff (Carlo, Joseph and the rest of the team) are beyond amazingly helpful. I traveled without any plan and the guys from the reception recommended me places to visit without the hassle of searching online they book it for me right on the spot.

The only glitch that would probably others noticed which i myself have the same experience is that their breakfast options are with variety yes -- but limited. I stayed 6 nights at this place and they serve the same variety of breakfast every single morning. I'm not bothered so much about this since it compensates the service already. If you are very particular about breakfast there is "eataly" just across the street from the hotel.

Beddings, sheets - if you require to change it daily you need to ask the housekeeping specifically otherwise they will just re-arrange it. Towels are daily replaced.

Wifi - works very well and its free which is something very convenient since not all hotels offer free internet package.

Room is equip with Mini-bar, flat screen tv, A/C-Heater, safety deposit box and the works.

Hotel Alexandra thank you for a wonderful experience, definitely coming back. SOON!

- Anne (1601)

Room Tip: I have the inner double room which not on the street side and its very quiet. I slept like a baby.

Renovated hotel on Via Veneto about 50 meters from metro station. Walking distance to many interesting places.
Excellent service at front desk. Good breakfast buffe.
Room was quiet (when window was close) and had a nice view to Via Veneto.

Nice and helpful staff, great breakfast buffé. Not the most comfortable beds and a little tricky to regulate the AC, but everything else about the room was good. Fantastic location and wifi worked perfectly good.

Very nice hotel close to everything you want to see. It's right by the subway so it's a quick and easy trip to the Vatican and other sites. A lot within walking distance too! Staff was VERY helpful and we had great service while we were there. Rooms were small but expect that in Roma. Breakfast here was really good as well. Lots of choices.
