Good low budget hotel. ...Most of the time Air conditioner was not working..

Turner hotel is perfect for a nice holiday in Rome as well for a business trip.
Located in the heart of Rome near Porta Pia , one of the most important places in Rome the hotel gives a 19th century taste of the area.
Getting there is not very hard , the Termini station ( the biggest in Rome) is not too far about 10 minutes by foot.
The room in which we checked-in was a lovely one , with all conforts included such as air conditioning , tv , phone and a full mini-bar. Also the bathroom always clean and shiny with a nice tub and shower.Wireless internet also works.
The staff of the hotel well trained , helpful and can provide useful informations during your stay so don' t hesitate to ask. You find someone there 24 hours per day at the front desk.
The hotel's restaurant is one of the best in the area with great food and wine.
We highly recommend it to all.

Very nice hotel for the price. Close to a subway station, one stop from the central station. If you don`t mind walking like us, you won`t have any trouble getting everywhere. Because we weren`t sure at first, we took a cab from the station and it cost 30 euros. The room was small but normal for europe. It wasn`t the cleanest but not enough to be bad. The bathroom was big and we had presure in the shower. We don`t know about the ac because in April we didn`t need it. We had a fridge and a safe in the room which was convenient for us. We went to the grocery store by the hotel to buy water bottles and put them in the fridge. The neigborhood is nice and not too expensive with two cafés next door. If you expect a 4 stars will be desapointed but if you think of a 2 1/2 hotel, you will be happy. The staff is friendly but they don`t know much about the tourist attractions, you are better off going to the tourist office.

I am staying in this hotel right now. and I just had to write a review! My secretary booked this hotel for me as she always does. As I was arriving in Rome, I checked on my laptop where the hotel was. I happened to get the tripadvisor page of the hotel. When I read the reviews I called my secretary to get us another hotel. I couldn't reach her in time so we ended staying at the Turner Hotel after all, at least for the first night. I have to say one thing: THE HOTEL IS GREAT! It is han an antic romantic thing, I do not know how to describe it... It is decorated in a very classic way (I love classic), the rooms are new (at least all our 6 rooms they are), they are furnished with good taste and very clean ! The price for a 4 star hotel is exceptionally good! (maybe as we got 6 rooms they made a big discount, I do not know, I am not sure). Beakfast was included in the deal we had and I must say it was complete; we found everything we needed for a good breakfast in the most breautiful space where you can have breakfast. They serve it in 2 big rooms, with slow classic music in the background. The rooms looks like a room from the Versailles Palace in France, very beautiful. The girl from the Reception speaks perfect English (Laura is her name, she seems English but she is Italian;) and she was very helpful with advice for good restaurants and things to do in the evening. What else? My room is very quiet and spacious. The hotel has a big and elegant conference room, that we rented for a good price. The best thing is that they have FREE WI FI Internet service! We are staying for quite a long period and we would have spent a lot for Internet.
I really do not understand the other bad reviews, probably the people who wrote them didn't stay in this hotel or they got the wrong hotel, I have no other explanation.
I will recommend this hotel to everyone... it has a good central position and the staff is very helpfull and kind.
