“Trendy apartment in heart of Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2012 via mobile

Have stayed in both apartments and hotel room on three occasions now and would not even bother to look any where else. Hotel very quaint and apartments a luxury treat for a fraction of the cost. Great location, safe, clean and host Angelo a great help. As an Austrlian I am very fussy and used to large modern accommodation. The apartments I'll not disappoint!

Excellent location near the Termini station, subway, shopping, and sights (grocery store is on the next block, too). Although the hotel lobby is one flight up, there is an elevator. The staff at Hotel Cortina was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Good breakfast, excellent capuccino! We definitely would stay again and recommend the hotel as an excellent value. For dining, try the Due Colonne at Via dei Serpenti, 91. Excellent food at reasonable prices. For an after-dinner drink, try the Strega Bar just around the corner. Friendly staff and inexpensive digestifs.

We stayed at hotel Cortina for a long weekend. It was our second visit to this hotel.
The rooms are clean, with very good beds and the owner is friendly and helpful. There is always someone around in the reception to answer your questions. The hotel is quite easy to reach, only a few blocks from Termini station. All the highlights/monuments are within walking distance. We will certainly visit the hotel again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. We liked breakfast which was so fresh and great start to the day. The room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel

I stayed at Hotel Cortina as a single traveller five years ago, and had a wonderful experience. My host Angelo was most helpfull and polite to assist me with suitable plans to tour the city. This time I experienced the new apartments, which were just amazing. They are actually as good as the photos (which is not usually the case on web sites!). The apartment is perfectly located withing walking distance to most sights and transport. The apartment is very clean, modern with luxurious beds and bedding, modern bathroom, and the finer details such as coffee maching, sewing kits, laptop, books and magazines give it the little bit extra to make a warm and comfortable stay. I travel a lot for business and holiday, and can honestly say this is a perfect place to stay for both types of travellers. Angelo was even so kind to assist when I needed an additional nights accommodation when my itinerary changed, and also assisted my friend who came back the following week.

Room Tip: both apartments (one or two bedroom) are equally good.

This hotel offers a great location, excellent customer service, and their attention to detail is wonderful. The hotel is quaint, clean, homey and the breakfast buffet was very good.
The only downside for us was the very firm bed, but this seemed to be the norm in Italy!
I would stay here again.

We have been staying at the Cortina once or twice a year for the last 12 years. The hotel and staff have been perfect each time. We love the apartments and the hotel.
