After reading mixed reviews about this hotel, we decided to split our week in Rome into 2 hotels. We stayed 3 nights there. The location is very good -- walking to train station, metro. Most of the attraction sites are within 20 minutes walk. The room we got was spacious, no view, but quiet. The bathroom has been totally renovated. Our breakfast was included in the room rate. The buffet was not spectacular, but was good. We would stay there again.

I stayed at Albergo Quirinale for four nights in February 2009. Overall a pleasant stay. I was assigned one of their least favored rooms, with a most unpleasant view. I requested a different room with a better view and also requested a room with a bathtub. I was very appreciative that they granted my request and reassigned my room to a side street (Via Torino), and was granted my request of a room with a bathtub. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty in a very attractive dining room. There is also outside dining overlooking a pretty courtyard, but the weather was chilly and I opted to stay inside. The hotel is decorated in antiques and has an old world charachter that to some may not be to their liking. I rather enjoy the past and if in Rome, old world is my choice.

My one disappointment is the fact that this hotel charges a rather steep fee for internet use. Being a single female traveler, Internet use is a number one priority to me, as this is my way to communicate with family back home to keep them informed of my whereabouts as I travel through. The high price this hotel charges for internet use prevented me from using the service. I strongly believe that this service should be provided to guests free of charge, or at least at a reasonable rate. Eight Euros for 1 hour of internet service is excessive, and I'm afraid is a way to gouge the guests for extra revenue after we have already paid for our room. For this reason alone, I WILL NOT BE RETURNING to the Quirinale, unless they revise their policy for internet use.

Stayed in the Hotel Quirinale for the second time last week for 5 nights and have no complaints at all.

We had a deluxe room on the 4th floor and it was very spacious. The bathroom was enormous. The room was facing the side street but not noisy at all. The rooms are old style but this just adds to the charm - if you are looking for modern - go elsewhere. The only thing missing was a tea/coffe maker - not a big issue.

Breakfast was included in the price and included juices/tea/coffee/cereals/fruit/yogurt/bacon/eggs/bread/cold meats/cheese/cakes - you would definitely find somthing to eat - could not complain. Not sure what some reveiws who complain expect for their breakfast!!

There is a lovely comfortable foyer in the hotel. The reception staff are pleasant.

There is internet access in the rooms but no printer - internet cafe around the corner if you need to print boarding passes or anything. There is a lovely garden - lovely in the summer and overlooked by the terrace where breakfast is served - not open this time around - too cold to eat out

There were a few of us staying and the rooms definitely differ - but all of the rooms were fine - some a little more spacious than other

Would stay again. Location is walking distance of many sights and very close to the Republics Square Metro stop. Plenty places around to eat and have a drink. Would have no hesitation recommending hotel

I travelled to Rome with my sister on 27th Jan - it had been years since she was there so we booked the Quirinale as I had stayed there 3yrs ago & loved it. The Hotel exceeded her expectations & we both had a really enjoyable stay - well worth a visit.
