As other reviewers have said the room we stayed in was quite small, however we weren't staying at the Picasso to hang out in our room, it was clean, nicely decorated, quiet, had a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with a great shower andmost importantly was in a really great location. Breakfast wasn't the best but they did have some nice pastries on offer so it was fine. The only thing which did disapoint us about Picasso was we bookedonlinefor a price of 87Euro per night (on their own website) and on arrival they told us it wasonly 67Euro per night which we were pleased about, however on our deparfture they asked us to pay the difference (after they had our bag in storage for us, not when we checked out). I was happy to pay what we thought we owed but if it had been a mistake we should have been told as soon as it was picked up, not 30mins before we left for the airport as we had been travelling on a budget and believed we had had thismoney to spend.

I visited Rome In September for 2 nights, and as a woman travelling alone, I wanted to make sure that I was in a safe area, and close to everything.. And that is exactly was this hotel was... Granted the room I stayed in was Very SMALL, but it was a single room, and I would say standard for any other hotel in Europe. The only thing to keep in mind is that the elevator costs 5 cents per use... I plan on going back to ROME, and I will probably be staying here again... All the main attractions are in walking distance, as well as shopping and good food. Oh almost forgot , the Double Decker tour bus stop is not far from the hotel either. When I would venture out at night for dinner or dessert, I felt safe walking back to my hotel. I highly reccommed this hotel.

Stayed in the hotel for a week, in a single room. The room was incredibly tiny - its width was about the width of two single beds, tiny table and closet. Couldn't open my suitcase and the entrance door at the same time... Bathroom (shower) was also tiny. All in all, it felt claustrophobic even in european standards.

The AC wasn't working (it was May and quite hot already), so there was no way of getting any air except for the window (no curtain, so those who are wakened by the sunlight, like myself - beware).

The hotel is on the second or third floor, and you have to be buzzed in when entering (the main door of the building is locked).

The best thing was the location - just a few steps from Via Nazionale, Piazza dela Reublica and within walking distance from most of the main touristic attractions.

The staff was weren't very nice, hardly spoke any english and weren't very helpful, even when I got stuck with a heavy suitcase and a non-operating lift (and that's its state often).

My mother and I stayed there for 4 days in April. The room looks just like the picture. They cleaned the room every day. The Bathroom, though small, was very clean. We had MP3 Players, Ipod's, and cameras; we left them in the room at different times - nothing was stolen. The breakfast was not a traditional western breakfast, however, there was still lots to choose from. Croissants, toast, cereals, breads, cheeses, juices, milks teas and coffee. They had a server who brought you your tea or coffee, and to clean afterwards. The Breakfast room was small, but the tables were setup nice, and I was quite comfortable and well fed.

You have to buzz the front door to get in after a certain time at night, but someone was always there to let you in. We found this perfect as we arrived late at night, and or adventures kept us out late as well. We knew about the buzzer beforehand, so we brought earplugs - never heard a thing. I would bring earplugs for every hotel in either case; in Italy hotel room walls are on the thinner side.

There is a GREAT restaurant directly next door to the Hotel, and we ate there a couple of times. It was perfect for when you were tired and hungry after a long day of walking, and so we didn't have far to walk back after eating. Also, there is a bakery about 2 doors down from the hotel as well, and we would pick up a few treats to add to our breakfast (though it wasn't really needed) or to eat for dessert.

The Metro Train Station is a short walk away, as well as the city subway. It wasn't even that far to walk to downtown historic Rome either (colosseum, palatine). Very convenient.

Stayed here recently for 2 nights. Good decent hotel though the single room was rather small but that was well expected (the shower is tiny and being 6'2, it is such a cramp). It was definitely clean with friendly and helpful staff. Location wise is ok but there are plenty more hotels near to the Termini station and the internet shops. Don't mind staying here again but would check out first the hotels in front of the station.
