I stayed at this hotel for five days. The rooms are a little small but met my needs very well and they were kept very clean. I found the staff very personable and friendly. The location is excellent, there are so many places to see within walking distance. The offered breakfast was basic, yet I found it to be very good for my tastes.
I am very pleased to have stayed at this hotel. It was easy to find walking from the train station. It was staffed by very friendly people. It was clean and comfortable.
The best compliment I can give is that I am very happy to have stayed at the Hotel Picasso and I would definitely stay here again on a return visit to Rome.

Well, booked the hotel because my friend was on a budget, big mistake. You know the old saying, "get what you paid for". The hotel is in a great location, but then again, so are lots of hotels in Roma. Our room was ok, but the main problem was that the hotel does not allow you a key for after hours, so we had to hear the buzzard all night long. And one night the front deskman was not at the desk, so we had to hear the buzzard for 10 minutes (not fun while you are trying to sleep). The place is clean. Our refrigerator did not work right because of the outlets in the room. When you turned the lights off, the refrigerator went off too. The breakfast was blah, but then again breakfast in Italy is very boring. The coffee was great though. If I had to pick again, I would pick different. After touring all day and no sleep for three nights, I would not recommend this hotel. Bring your earplugs and sleeping masks.

This hotel is very small, but the rooms are clean and it is in a good location. The first night I shared a room with my friend and it was nice except that it was right next to the front desk and we could hear the buzzer every time someone came to the front door. Thankfully we slept with earplugs and that solved the problem. The room was small, but clean.

The next day my friend's husband came to stay with us and I switched to my own room. This room was located in the middle of the building and did not contain a window, I don't think it is legal in the US! Again the room was small, but clean and despite not having a window, it was ok for the two nights I stayed there.

The hotel has breakfast, but it is served in a very tiny room and the food was ok, just cereal, rolls and coffee. It served it's purpose and saved me a few euros. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood so you can easily eat elsewhere. The hotel isn't far from the metro, Colosseum, and Trevi Fountain.

Although this hotel was inexpensive, it was not even worth the money we did spend. The hotel staff was not very helpful, the elevator cost money to ride, our shower was broken and never fixed (despite our requests and the promisses of the staff, each day of our 5 day stay), they say they have air conditioning but they only have it 3 months out of the year and even then it is an extra charge. The breakfast was minimal (roll and coffee) but that was ok, but a real let down after our great continental breakfast at the hotel in Florence (Hotel Maxium/Axial) Our hotel in Florence was MUCH nicer and cheaper.

  • Liked — location, maybe price (but it wasn't cheap)

Nice hotel, great position near metro, train and buses, also perfect to go walking to almost everywhere.. Rooms are ok, but nothing great (see my photos for a single camera). Clean also. There´s an elevator but you have to put 10 cents to use it. The problem is not the price, but to have always a 10 cents coin. The place is safe. Breakfast is a normal italian breakfast. Staff is ok. Price is normal to Rome, were everything is overpriced. But pay attention, avoid booking directly with the hotel because it seems that they do higher prices. Try a good research first, with expdedia, venere, etc.
