My husband and I, together with another couple, booked this hotel for a 3 night break. Our friends had stayed at a Gianetti hotel elsewhere in Italy and said it was definately worth a try. We were not disappointed. It is absolutely spotless, located near the centre, but on a quiet sidestreet (the lap dance club opposite is hardly worth a mention, you wouldn't know it was there). The staff coudn't do enough for us. We stayed in room 101 and our friends in room 107, both were absolutely fine, really spacious (room 101 slightly larger). We had complimentary robes and slippers. The breakfast is to die for, hot cooked, fresh fruit, pastries (beautiful patisserie cakes), cereals, cheeses, cold meats, toast, and as much as you like, buffet style. Just a couple of things to note, the tea/coffee in your room is not complimentary, so beware. Also your mini bar stock is half the price of drinks in the hotel bar, which by the way closes at 10.30 pm . Rome is very expensive, take lots of spending money. 3 ice cream cones (fancy ones at that) cost us 35 euros (Gelateri at the bottom of the Spanish Steps).
