If you are looking for a hotel based on low price alone, then this one will do. But it was not very close to the attractions in Rome, a twenty minute bus ride from the Termini train station. Although the bus did run frequently so it was not a long wait for one on any of the days we were there. But the hotel is very old and outdated and the lobby smelled like a litter box. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to giving directions and such. Breakfast was included in the price and it was a very good value, plenty to eat. But the next time I am in Rome I would spend a couple of dollars more to stay at a nicer, cleaner hotel closer to the Termini Station or the Trevi Fountain.

I have to travel to Italy quite often for business.
Due to my work, I often need a long time online at evening, back from meetings. Therefore, I greatly appreciated the free wi-fi facility (during other trips to Italy I found myself spending tens of euro for internet connection).
Hotel unpretentious yet clean and providing a kind service.
Bottom line: good value.

The criteria for choosing an accomodation, for me, is as important as the place I come to visit over & over again. Rome is at the top of our list, so the decision for my husband and me to celebrate both our milestone birthdays there, came naturally for us. Just as staying in Hotel delle Muse has been the best decision every time. Giorgio Lazar, the hotel's owner, and the wonderful reception & service staff have always been very gracious to us. We have come to appreciate them over the years. In the numerous times that we have stayed in Hotel delle Muse, we could not wait to go to breakfast every morning or come back from a hectic day, knowing there will be great food waiting for us back in the hotel's dining room. Its location in a quiet residential district is very ideal as we enjoy the idea of going around Rome like locals do- using public transportation & discovering new & exciting places along the way. Muse is our home away from home. We can't wait to go back and see familiar & friendly faces once again.

This is the dirtiest hotel that I have ever been. It was horrible, rusty. My family and I could 'n stay there not even for 1 hour. we end up on the street walking until we found something better. truly some third world countries have cleaner hotel than the Rome Delle Muse.
