I booked this hotel for my wife and I to escape to Rome to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The flowers and wine that I had requested were there courtesy of Alessandro on the front desk and the room we had looking onto Via Nazionale was big, very comfortable and air-conditioned. The buffet breakfast is ideal to get a day's sight-seeing off to a good start and the free mini-bar in the room was ideal apon returning to the hotel in the late afternoon. We used the roof top terrace bar a few times before heading out for dinner in the evening and again for a night cap before retiring for the night. We found all the staff very helpful and courteous and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to any-one visiting Rome on either business or pleasure.

I found out about this hotel from the reviews on tripadvisor & I have to say it was a great recommendation!! It was the perfect hotel, great value, great location (a lot of the best rated restaurants on here are very close!! which is handy), very easy to get around.
The room was a good size - especially after being in a shoebox visiting Paris!! It was very comfortable hotel & we were made to feel very welcome.
Upon check in we were given vouchers for 2 welcome drinks & this was basically the start of a great holiday!
The mini bar was very handy especially after walking around in the sun all day!! and the air conditioning worked very well.
Generally no complaints & this is definitely a hotel I'd go back to or recommend.

For the price and location, the Hotel Artemide provided a fine stay. Some of the staff were welcoming but others not so much. The room and bathroom were both a good size for Rome and clean (very nice). One negative of our stay was that though it was quite warm already in Rome when we visited, the air conditioning was not on, and there was a lot of noise outside when we tried to open our window. When we mentioned this to reception, they said that the AC had not been turned on for the whole hotel and that there was nothing they could do about it.

All in all, a good, clean place to stay in a convenient location, but not memorable in and of itself.

We were very excited about staying at this hotel, but expectations were not to be met. As the taxi stopped outside the hotel front doors, we thought he had the wrong place. As it turns out, 'Hotel Artemide' fraudulently depicts their hotel (online) using pictures of another hotel in the area, the Boscolo five star luxury hotel.

Room was nice and clean although small and with very poor pillows (it was as if sleeping without a pillow altogether).

The Internet worked only during some days and when it worked, bandwidth was severely limited and most non local web pages would not load at all.

Movies (paid) on the TV set would also not work at times, although the hotel still allowed you to subscribe to movie packages during the outage, forcing us to request a credit at the front desk.

Lastly, upon checking out, the hotel had our bill wrong.
