Clean, efficient, sylish hotel.
Though the public rooms were smaller than I thought they would be from photographs, they are very tastefully decorated and furnished. Comfort and some style. The staff on reception, were always attentive and helpful. Someone there always able to speak in English, Bedrooms again were excellent. Clean,
spacious and tastefully decorated. The huge double bed was
incredibly comfortable and spacious!! We were on the first floor
and also had a small verandah, with table and chairs, though
the view, as one might expect in the centre of the city, was building 'locked'. Breakfast was fine, in a pleasant basement
dining area. Range of choice a bit limited, mainly breads and
cakes, with only bacon and scrambled egg offered as a hot dish.
The restaurant was the hotels only let-down. It lacked character
and ambience, indeed it seemed more like a basic street cafe.
The menu though middle priced, was by no means extensive, and for a vegetarian offered nothing at all.
The hotel is situated in a very convenient position. It took us about twenty minutes to complete a very pleasant walk down to the Colisseum, for instance.
We would definitly use this hotel again.

Have just returned from Rome, having spent 3 nights at the Artemide Hotel. First impressions, great location, 5 mins walk from Rebubblica metro and 10 mins from Termini main line station, so not difficult to get to at all.

We arrived before the normal check in time of 1400, but were able to check in immediately which is a bonus after an early morning start. Room was of an average size, clean with all the usual things you would expect, such as TV, slippers, toiletries etc.

Another reason why we chose this hotel was because it offered breakfast (American/continental), which was amazing.

One thing you should be aware of is the hotel does not permit the use of irons in rooms, so ensure you arrive with crease free clothing.

Rooms do not have tea/coffee making facilities, but does have a free mini bar,offering soft drinks and beer. You are also issued with a complimentary voucher on check in, which you can exchange for coffee or sparkling wine.

Hotel within walkng distance of most sights and as we had fantastic weather (20 degrees and sunny) during our stay, it was a pleasure to walk instead of taking the metro.

Great restaurants all around Rome, so you will be spoilt for choice.

All in all, a great hotel, with helpful, friendy, English speaking staff . Definitely recommend to others.

My partner and i stayed at this hotel at the end of september for my birthday. We have never been to Rome before and loved it. This hotel was fantastic and i would definately recommend it and will be visiting again. It is in the ideal location within walking distance to everything. The staff are lovely and took good care of us. The rooms are immaculate and the hotel is well looked after. We visited all the sights and picked the best time to go as most are free on the last weekend of the month. The weather was lovely and the food is brilliant.

I well and truely enjoyed my weekend and will be returning to Rome but taking alot more money for all the shoes and handbags. When i retunr i will be staying at this hotel as i think it was one of the best there.

This was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever had in a hotel. We found the Artemide to be great value for money. Anybody who wishes to visit Rome could not find a better hotel/location than the Artemide. Very close to subway system; the room was spacious, clean and elegantly appointed; the free breakfast was amazing-huge, in a lovely room, great for Rome. Every member of staff that we came into contact with was polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The free internet was very nice and totally unexpected.
Would definitely stay again and recommend to others !
