I found Maxela (Rome) wandering the small streets of old Rome. The menu is simple, mainly
meat that has been directly brought to the restuarant from the producer. The quality is great
and the prices very reasonable. The Carpaccio with olives, capers etc. is outstanding. Also tried the grilled sausage that took top marks. They serve only limited pastas, but they have an awesome "Tiramisu". They feature products direct from the producer and their bottled house wine also comes in both 1/2 and full bottles and is very good quality. Very pleasant service.
