Avoid ! Stayed there in August 07 for one night . Booked the hotel through the tourist office in Rome 2 weeks before. Booked 2 rooms as was told no large rooms available that could take 2 adults and 3 children. Arrived at hotel and told that the only had one average size room available for 5. Also told that we would have to pay for two rooms even tough we would just be getting one room. The guy on reception was exceptionally rude and totally unhelpful. The 5 of us spent a very uncomfortable night in one room with no air con and mouldy bathroom. Worst hotel ever stayed in and did not sleep a wink. Breakfast also unedible.

I've been to Rome twice and Europe in general 4 times and this hotel was absolutely fabulous. It is comfortable and a great price.

The staff was so accomodating and friendly. For example, we left our camera at the restaurant late at night. We needed a cab right away but didnt have any money (we hadn't gone to the ATM yet. It was our first night.) The hotel desk clerk gave us $50 out of his own pocket and told us to pay him later! He went above and beyond so ensure that we were able to retreive our valuable possessions. He called the cab and told them where to go, as were were frazzled that we left $500 worth of equipment at the restaurant. And there were other little things that the staff did to make us feel like family.

I will definatly stay here again and will recommend it to everyone!

Just look at the pictures and read all the reviews submitted by other travelers. The hotel is worse than horrible.

We just spent several days at this hotel. I didn't realize that I had $100 in American dollars stolen from my belongings until I had left there (since I was only using Euro, I didn't check until I was on the train heading to Florence). I was very upset. The bathroom had mold all over the shower, the room was so small that it was hard for four people to share, since then we have stayed in several other hotels and there was a little more room. The breakfast was very slim pickin's if you were a late comer, and they wouldn't get anything else for you if you asked. This was a teriible place to stay, and unfortunately put a bad taste to the beginning of our vacation.
