Hotel was central to all areas a daily bus/ metro ticket can be purchased for 4 euros, plenty of little tavernas around, without being too expensive. The hotel staff are friendly all it takes is a smile and you will get whatever you require, tea and coffee facilities in your room are free just ask, also slippers, face flannels and pillows. The breakfast is fine lots of fruit, yogs ,rolls, the normal fare available , just be pleasant, I even got some china cups for our tea to take to the room! They arranged a cab to the airport 55 euros, clean fast service. Stayed 3 days and did whirlwind tour of the sights , the Campo Fiori area is worth a visit for the cafe society and eating , the market is great and fab bakeries, walk across to the jewish sector and then catch a bus to St Petro. The Collesium area is awesome ,forum, near the Monument a Vittotio Emanuele, lots to see there. Spent 3rd day seeing the Trevi , Spanish steps, Piazza Popolo walked down the Via Corso, to the Pantheon, bus back to rest then out for the evening to your favourite spot. Enjoy ,if on a budget use side street cafes or have your coffee standing at the bar, keep walking!!
