We just returned from Italy and we were very happy of this superbe country!
We stayed three days in Venice,Two in Florence and three in Rome.
I would like to spend a fwe words about Rome: Its a wonderful an warm city with lots to see. I therefore reccomend the hotel we stayed in, not only because it was very central and near all the famous attractions but because it contributed in making our stay even more confortable and pleasant.
The personnel at the reception gave us all kinds of info we wanted, the breakfast was superb and the atmosphere was very family like!

We strongly reccomend Hotel Giolli if you are planning a holiday in Rome!!!

We planned our trip at the last moment and stayed four nights at the Hotel Giolli in Rome. What an outstanding facility! The staff was very courteous, helping with directions for the Metro, bus numbers to various parts of Rome, booking us different resaurants when needed. The hotel is well cared for, comfortable and clean. Rooms have a key card system, plus inroom safe free of charge and cable TV. Locationwise the Hotel Giolli is conveniently located in walking distance to many attractions. There is also a metro stop a few blocks down the street. Our special thanks goes to Gianni who helped us tremondously, making numerous telephone calls to retrieve my son’s knapsack and glasses. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Rome.

Good location. Grumpy staff except for Carlo who was so very helpful and should be working somewhere worthy of him!
If you have already booked to stay you will be ok, but I would pay a touch more for a better hotel. It all depends what your priority is.After long days sightseeing, I enjoy a touch of luxury!

Perfectly simple little place. Very hands-off and simple set up in the room and staff wise. For folks on a budget and wanting something right in the heart of the city right near public transportation food and sites this is a good location. Don't expect anything better than extremely basic, a 2 star hotel that is clean...with no amenities whatsoever, then you will be fine at this hotel.
