Located in a nice residential area the hotel give you a list of directions on public transport of how to get to all the main attractions. Wherever you stay in Rome as a leisure tourist you will walk, so using the tram or bus to do the main part of the journey meant that staying in the very centre wasn't necessary. There's a supermarket (Tiger) across the road and a fridge in your room to put items in. Local restaurant Obika was ok and Rossini was FANTASTIC - good to know about in case you are too tired at the end of a long day sight seeing to travel back to the centre. Hotel facilities all great - nice toiletries, good hair drier, balcony, huge bed etc. The faintest noise from the lift if there wasn't much other noise and on Sat night there was definitely a party going on somewhere (booming music), but it can't have been too bad as I fell asleep without the need for ear plugs. I'd definitely recommend this hotel as a base to see Rome.
