“Perfect Central Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights in January 2013. We had the most amazing room with a private balcony. The room was very clean, the staff wonderful and friendly. It is a stones throw from the Spanish Steps and very close (walking distance) to most other attractions. Everything about this hotel is 5 star. We will return and highly recommend to anybody going to Rome.

Room Tip: If possible request the room with the balcony

We loved this hotel! My sister and I and a friend stayed here or 6 nights in November for our friend's 50th birthday. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful. They were very patient as we practiced our very basic Italian! Our double room was on the 1st floor - it was comfortable in size, the bathroom was very spacious, but the only drawback was the view. While the window was large, it opened out into a back alley that was someone's back door. We never felt unsafe since we were above the neighbor's door, but it was a bit of a disappointment not to have a better view. Be sure to request a higher floor or a front-facing room.

Our friend's room was on the 3rd floor - it was a little smaller than our double room but had a terrific balcony overlooking the street.

And the location couldn't b beat. So close to the Spanish Steps and the Via Condotti (fabulous but expensive shopping!). Don't be alarmed - there is more afforadable shopping off the main streets! This neighborhood is bustling and alive - such great energy. We walked everywhere since the location was so central to most of the main sites.

You can't go wrong with the Condotti!

My husband and I stayed at the Condotti Hotel for 5 nights in December 2012. The hotel is so central - a few meters from the Spanish Steps, right in the middle of the nicest shopping area of the city, and at walking distance from most important sites. The staff was extremely nice, friendly and helpful and the service was very good. We had a lovely room on the top floor with a terrace overlooking the rooftops of Rome, and the weather being quite mild for mid-December we could really enjoy it. Great value. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great experience at The Condotti in Rome! Stayed 21 to 23 Dec 2012.

PLUS points:
1. Outstanding service and a warm helpful team - at the front desk - everyone from porter to manger were extremely helpful, warm and friendly. I communicated with a really nice lady called Daniela before my arrival and she not only recommended and booked restaurants for us but also made useful suggestions and helped us check train tickets for the next leg of our trip to make sure that we had booked the right train and negotiated a good price for the limo pick up at the airport. Her instructions were detailed and considered and I felt that my plans were in good hands for this leg of my trip.

2. Good continental buffet breakfast spread at the hotel with everything from hard boiled eggs to cheeses, cold cuts, yoghurt, juice and hot chocolate, coffee bar, breads and cakes - all you can eat.

3. Very convenient location and GOOD value for the fact that we were so close to the Spanish steps, the Condotti and Del Corsa shopping streets and so many good restaurants around us. Also many attractions were within walking distance eg. the Trevi Fountain etc, And the Vatican and Collosseum were also nearby via taxi or Metro.

4. Free wifi all day!!!! Was so happy to be connected with no hassle.

MINUS points: The hotel has an annex building which is not part of the main hotel and has a side door entrance so if you prefer to stay in the main building you should let them know. They were very acommodating with room choices as long as they had available space. The rooms in the annex wing are bigger and more spacious whilst the rooms in the main building are slightly smaller and rather dimly lit with old fashioned furnishings. Not a lot of English channels on the TV either and no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. But if you don't plan to spend all day in the hotel then this is a perfect value for money location.

All said, the excellent service was outstanding as with the location were great so we went out most of the time and all in all, were SUPER pleased with this hotel and would highly recommend it!

Room Tip: For larger rooms stay in the Annex wing which is a little bit like renting a private room/small serv...

Dear friends,

We, the staff, are always glad to help you the best we can to plan and render better your stay in Rome. When is possible we make free up grade for the rooms that our clients have booked or we offer an alternative in our satellite structures near by.

The rooms in the main hotel have always the breakfast included in the price at the moment of booking; for the separate building - where the breakfast is not included in the price we have created tea and coffee making facilities inside of the room, without excluding the possibility to add the continental breakfast once in hotel.

We try to satisfy the requests for one enriched continental breakfast by offering different types of brioches, different cakes, cereals, yogurt, bread, jam, honey, nutella, savory sandwiches, garlic bread, pies, ham, salame, turkey breast, fresh and aged cheeses (including buffalo mozzarella, scamorza ) , fruit and vegetables, american coffee espresso and ginseng, cappuccino, juices, milk.

We are glad that we have succeeded to leave you a good memory of your stay and hope to see your beautiful family soon!

Best Regards,

Daniela

We stayed at the hotel in Dec 2012 and had two rooms in the main hotel. The local was wonderful and although we were in the heart of the city the rooms were quiet and well looked after. The staff were very helpful and attentive and there were a number of good restaurants close by. An ideal location to see the city and walk around. Lovely vibe during with Christmas period with lots of fairy lights along the streets.

My family - husband and two teenage girls - stayed here for 3 nights in December 2012 - price , location, service all amazing for rome. We had two rooms, two toilets and two hand basins which was great for us. We stayed in the section around the corner from the main reception but this was no problem at all. It is clean, tidy, comfortable and for under 100 euros a night totally unbelievable value. Wi Fi works well, tea, coffee and small refrigerator in room are all added bonuses. would definitely stay here again.

I stayed there twice this year and was satisfied. The place is decently clean, tidy and confortable. It is nicely located: few meters from Spanish steps and couple of blocks away from best shopping area of the city and a walking distance away from most touristic attractions of Rome. The staff (Paula and all the team) is really friendly, helpful and speaks english, german and french fluently.
i would surely return in my next trip and would strongly recommend it!
