Me and my boyfriend stayed in Rome for 1 night in September.
Rome is a very big city but hotel is close to everything, spanish steps and trevi fountain just 2 mins walking, metro station barberini and termini train station very near.
Staff is friendly and very helpful, they care about every request, they made us feel at home.
Room and bathroom were new, good size and very clean.
The breakfast was included with good quality food (italian style, very good cappuccino).
The reception is new, in white color, there are some pcs were you can use the internet for reasonable fares.
I would definetly stay in this hotel again.

Overall adequate if you don't plan to spend any time in your hotel room, otherwise look elsewhere. Location excellent, close to everything. Security in hotel seemed ok. Room small but space enough with old fashioned unappealing tired decor in bedroom and antiquated bathroom. The shower functioned ok. Reasonably quiet and clean with window shutters that screen out the light & an opening window - not much of a view however. Mattress and pillows old, hard & lumpy, very uncomfortable & urgently needing replacing. So bad I would have bought a pillow if I could have located one nearby! Breakfast was awful, no healthy options - fake orange juice, limp croissant, jam tart and cake, the same everyday. Front desk staff cordial except for one whose abruptness came across as rudeness (unintended I believe but a bit off putting)...
The hotel is suitable for the budget conscious travellor seeking a great location who can overlook the negatives. Rome is expensive, but I would suggest that this hotel is not worth more than 90 euros max for a double/twin room. Do not buy from the fruit stall at Trevi fountain, very, very expensive. Locate the supermarket nearby asap for cheaper bottled water & food.

I selected this hotel for it's location. It is a perfect location. Once we arrived I tried to cancel my reservations. We are not picky travelers but this was to much. The window air conditioners didn't work and we had two fans, one that worked. While my wife and I were trying to stay cool with the fan in the middle of a very hot day a fellow from the office can in without knocking and tried to take the one fan that worked. I have to grab the fan to keep it. He said I already had a fan. I told him the air conditioning didn't work and the other fan didn't.

Also the place was dirty, run down. Rome is such a beautiful place and it's hard to imagine that a place could cause such a bring down.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Rome towards the end of March for 2 nights. The location of the hotel is amazing, we walked from the train station to the hotel without trouble; it was just down the road from the spanish steps and a 2 min walk from the trevi fountain.
Our room was small with a window that only looked out onto the back entrance to more buildithe furnature was basic but the airconditiong was very good. We had a small shower room that you couldnt really move in if the door was shut and my boyfriend had to crouch under the water heater above the shower - but you don't need any thing more from a room in Rome - just somewhere to sleep and this hotel did the job.
The staff were friendly and helpful and we could leave our luggage in a secure room as we had a late flight. However, there was no safety deposit box in the room - luckily enough we didnt have any problems with safety.
The breakfast was as expected with cakes and pasteries but it was fresh and very nice.

I would recommend this hotel to couples (can't judge for families as we only has a double room) but you cannot avoid the steps so not for young children or older people.

Me and my husband went to Rome in September and stayed at the hotel for two days. This is a quiet and clean hotel. We walked in off the street to make our reservation. The staff was friendly and helpul. Our room overlooked a small courtyard. Our only complaint was that the bathtub was too small and the bedspread was a bit old looking (but it was clean). It is very convenient to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Overall we were pleased.

  • Liked — close to major historical sights
  • Disliked — very small bathtub
