My wife and I stayed here on August 30 for one night prior to a cruise. The hotel was selected as part of the cruise booking so we did not know much about the hotel or location until we arrived. The hotel seems to be located in an urban residential area. Our third floor, street side room included a sitting room, bedroom, and bathroom. The tub/shower had the half-glass arrangement that others have mentioned and not a full shower curtain.
The staff was professional and helpful to us non-italian speaking guests. The buffet breakfast was quite complete - a wide selection of hot and cold foods. The coffee was fine.
English speaking TV channels were limited to CNN international and BBC international. Wireless computer access was allegedly available but I thought it to be too expensive to try out.
We went out the hotel front door to the left, turned left at the corner, and went a block to the Euclide subway station. For one euro each and two subway stops, we popped out at the Flaminio subway station which is nearby the Piazza del Popolo, a touristy type area with plenty to see. (The subway ride was borderline unbearably hot.)
We found a nearby grocery store with assistance from the front desk . We bought wine, cheese, bread, and meat for a meal instead of forging out someplace and spending a lot of money on dinner.
You can look at Google (satellite view) to get an idea of what is around all these spots).
Bottom line, the hotel and location were a new experience for us and perfectly satisfactory.
