“Great hotel, people, service, and location!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

We booked a superior room for a stay this past week at Hotel Barocco. Our room was well appointed and in relatively good shape as the hotel had been renovated in 2010. King bed and shower were noteworthy. Also, two double-paned casement windows (4 panes of glass) on each window opening for a very quiet room, despite all the street traffic. HVAC unit in the room is tied to a centralized system; we felt a bit warm (and noticed that people on the streets were over-dressed for what seemed to be pretty mild temperatures; folks like it on the warm side, we surmised.). Our room overlooked the Piazza Barberini and the Fontana Triton. The piazza serves also as a stop on the Metro system and has continous access to taxis, which further enhances Barocco's location, not to mention its central location to all of the top sights. From the time we arrived to the time we left, the service was impeccable. We were greeted the first day wtih an impressive fruit basket. Breakfasts were very nice, and the service even more so. The front desk was always ever so polite and helpful. Turn down service occurs at some point in the evening and on the last night is accompanied by a small gift to punctuate a fine guest experieince. The neighborhood has numerous and a range of dining options. We used widely advertised airport shuttle serivces, but recommend just taking a taxi or explore using the shuttle arranged by the hotel instead.

Room Tip: If you want a view, book a superior room or a suite, and request a view. Ask about the hotel-arrange...

“Great experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

We have visited this hotel three times and each time we were impressed with the quality of this hotel. The first time we chose this hotel mainly due to its central location but we kept going back due to the excellent stays we always had. In our last stay we had our room upgraded, something we really appreciated as the junior suite is one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. The hotel is very well kept, rooms are well sized and clean, and staff is very helpful and always willing to help. Breakfast is very good. I would recommend this hotel to friends and would not hesitate to visit again.

“If your looking for a great location, great bed, excellent service and clean room, choose this hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012 via mobile

We were visiting Rome for 5 nights without our kids. It was important for us to have a great bed, good location (metro) nice staff and a good clean room. We had the deluxe room, with jacuzzi. Room was very clean. Everytime we came back from sightseeing or diner our room was made up. Piazza barberini is a great location because is not to busy but everything is nearby. Nice still room. Great breakfast with eggs on order. We were very happy that we choose hotel Barocco.

“!!!! Magnificient !!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

The Barocco Hotel is boutique hotel that is professional, friendly and brings customer service beyond your expectations. The Barocco experience gets it right on many levels. The quality of customer service that the staff delivers is amazing. The manager of the property is hands on and is as accommodating as his staff. An array of fruit upon our arrival, turn down service added a delightful surprise. The property is immaculate. Their breakfast is worth staying there in itself. Their location ideal. These are the little details that puts The Barocco @ 5 stars. Thank you Barocco, you made our stay !!!!Magnificent!!!! Thank you to Massimo and his staff! To the best bartender ever..........Raffael............Uncle John misses his buddy. Arrivederci Barocco, fino a quando ci incontreremo di nuovo . Viva in Italia.

Room Tip: We had two rooms and they were equally beautiful.

“Perfection guaranteed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

The accomadations were beautifully kept and maintained. The service was impeccable, from the concierge recommendations to the geniality of the wait staff. The location was ideal for meandering on your own and revisiting all our old favorites.

Room Tip: Having only seen the single rooms which were large and beautifully kept, I would assume you couldn...
