As it was our first time to Rome we checked out the hotel on various sites and they all suggested that it was as good as the rest of the them. BUT for my wife and I , we really could not fault the hotel in anyway, yes it is true, it is not a Massive place and so get down for breakfast early, but it had an incredible style and that is not including the mirrored ceiling.
The reception and other staff staff were incredibly helpfull ... really cannot fault anything .
Oh and to top it all, they even sent up a bottle of Champagne for wife's birthday,


If looking for a tour you have to check out H & M tours! We had a private tour, (worth the extra money if you can), of the Vatican with Hannah and she was very impressive. 3 hour tour was extended to nearly 4 .5 hours with no problem.

It's a great looking place, well designed and really has a great theme to it. Location is also wonderful for anything you might need (except maybe a supermarket!).

The problems we had, only problem to be honest, was with the noise...there seemed to be no noise protection through the doors & walls so you could hear people walking past and, sadly, using the toilet in the next room!! Also the aircon was either terrible or beyond my capabilities so we either had to suffer a roasting hot room and no noise, or the window open and car horns and shouting locals delivering stuff at 6am!!

Anyway that aside you'll probably not spend that much time there so it's not the end of the world...staff were very helpful indeed and the breakfast was nice too.

Although the rooms were a touch on the small side as with everywhere else in rome, we did enjoy ourselves and found the hotel clean and the staff friendly, but the internet veryyyyy slow was the only down fall. We walked everywhere and there are plenty of places to eat close by. My wife regards me as frustratingly fussy with my hotel choices but we did find this one meeting with our expectations and trip advisor helped us make our choice thanks to the reviewers.

When we arrived at the hotel we were shocked to find mirrors above our beds!!! This really should have been our first clue! Upon entering the hotel bar after a night out we were faced with lots of interesting characters!!! I could only really describe them as ladies of the night and we were informed by staff that they were regularly here. In addition at 15 euros a drink that bar was highly overpriced.

However the location of the hotel is fantastic and the roof top bar really lovely for pre dinner drinks and 22 euros for a bottle of prosecco did not seem over priced.

Overall a lovely hotel but given this seems a local hotspot of a ceratain kind I could not recommend it!
