“Awesome Location With Awesome Breakfast & Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

This a great location for a hotel in Rome. Walk out your door & you are right on the Via Corso. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The rooms were clean, sort of on the small side. The wifi had a very strong signal. Our room was quiet. Every morning we would go up to the rooftop room for an amazing breakfast. Everything you could possibly want. I would stay here again. The price is reasonable too especially with a huge breakfast.

Hotel staff were mostly friendly and it was clean with a good breakfast selection served on the roof. However, we had been booked into single rooms by mistake which they offered to change for us for the next day. The main problem was the noise of loud music until 4am, we had thought it was a bar nearby but couldn't figure out where and then realised it was in the hotel's small piano bar. Even with earplugs in you could still hear it. We saw other guests complaining but the nose carried on. We joined in one night and if you are looking for late nights and a central location then great but if you want good sleep not so.

Close to the heart of Rome with walking distance to everything. Clean hotel with friendly staff. Best restaurant on the roof! Great food! Discount for the restaurants nearby.
The only bad thing was the Wi-Fi, slow and got disconnected.

My family have previously stayed in this hotel so it came recommended. It has an excellent location for sight seeing as it is within walking distance of Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain, villa Borghese, Colosseum and pantheon to mention a few. We stayed there for 5 days in a family room in the new section of the hotel (just beside the original hotel with a separate entrance). Our room was kept very clean and was quite so we slept very well.Staff helped with our luggage or any queries we had. There is a taxi rank very close by. Breakfast in the hotel is fabulous. We also ate in the pizzeria attached to the hotel which has fabulous pizzas and residents receive a discount. Overall I had a fabulous time here and would stay there again.

This hotel is more "up market" than you might think. Rooftop restaurant provides a nice selection of breakfasts and you get some decent views of this part of the city. There is pleasant piano lounge and a few reasonably priced restaurants nearby including one next door which appears to be owned by the hotel (10% off with your room card). However, the reason I have not given the hotel a higher rating is that the rooms are remarkably small. I had expected there to be a bath as part of booking arrangements through a well known intermediate site. However, we were advised that an upgrade would be an extra 20 euros per night. Also the hotel levies a service charge (about £11 per night) which is not included in the room rate - I blame the website company for this, as the charge only comes up when you are about to pay in advance, and I missed this!. However it is spotlessly clean, breakfast is usually included in the room rate and there is no charge for the use of the room safe (Perhaps this is part of the service charge, I know not). In fairness to the hotel, as a result of my complaint about the lack of a bath and some issues with heating, they did offer me free upgrade if we were to return. The hotel has a 1920s style design with narrow corridors the walls of which are lined with black tiles, and from what we could gather, most if not all of the rooms have mirrored ceilings, and some have mirrors all round. We asked for an alternative room because the first one we were offered had mirrors everywhere and only a tiny window, so it takes a bit of getting used to. Wi fi reception is not as good as I would have expected (Lots of hot spots nearby). Otherwise in a reasonably good location, though it is not that close to the main railway station, so you need to allow for some time getting there and leaving. However, there is a Metro stop nearby (Flaminio 4th Stop from Termini on the A Line destination Batitstini and it is very close to the Piazza del Popolo (Buskers, jugglers, ancient cobbles, permanent police presence) and the Villa Borgese which is a lovely and very large urban park with views over most of the city centre.

Room Tip: Suggest checking in advance that you will be assured of a room with a decent sized window

The hotel is tucked away in a little side street not far from Piazza Popolo. This is a great location for a visit to Rome. The hotel although small has all the facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The staff from front of house to waiting are excellent. There is a funky roof top restaurant bar area where a very good breakfast is also served. This was not our first visit to the hotel and we were surprised to discover on this occasion our room which was at the front corner was very noisy. However our request to be moved to a quieter room was dealt with without fuss or hassle. All in all an hotel that is well worth a visit.

The Perfect Hotel! Centrally located by the Spanish steps and Via Del Corso the Hotel Valadier was a fabulous find. Gorgeous rooms and common areas each with their own distinction. The lounge and restaurant on the top floor allowed us to sit inside or out and had a fabulous view. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've had. I will go back to Rome and I won't stay anywhere but the Valadier! The restaurants on either side of the hotel were fabulous as well and as hotel guests we were give a 10% discount there as well. The rooftop restaurant offers a 30% discount to hotel guests.

Room Tip: We stayed in the suite but the other rooms were perfect too. The suite we were in had a very private...
