The hotel is lovely (clean room, large comfy bed, lovely bathroom) and although a little out of the centre there is plenty of good and frequent public transport to get you out and about. Be prepared to use it if you want to eat good Italian food! The hotel "restuarant" is lacking in atmosphere (can't comment on the food) and the local restaurants are not up to par (Rossini restaurant bits of meat found in mushroom Risotto and local cafe staff in Piazza Ungheria very rude and unhelpful. Both overpriced for the quality given). Hotel staff friendly if you make the effort to chat. My top tip for eating is Le Mani in Pasta in Trastevere (via de Genovesi) - well worth the effort, also for pizza, make the (small) effort to go into the centre and go to Gusto (Piazza Augusto Imperatore), but get there early for a table.............wanna make a long night of it? Try some antipasti at Enoteca Antica (via della croce)... lovely wine, lovely range of antipasti, lovely atmosphere.....enjoy!
