In response to the review of the hotel, dating back to March 2001, the hotel has since undergone a multi million $ total refurbishment in March 2002. The incident of the alleged staff theft is extremely regretable, however the management do deal with each case individually and take necessary actions and issue compensation if staff theft is proved to be the case. Incidents of staff or any other kind of theft at this hotel are rare however, with extensive close circuitry, security and door key logs being effective deterants. As with all hotels however, theft is a risk and guests are provided with in room safes and deposit boxes. All our housekeeping staff are long serving, full time, permanent members of staff, who are 100% trustworthy, professional and loyal.
