Just got back from a short break. Although we had to stay in their sister hotel Accademia for our first night (due to water problems) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can recommend both hotels. To compensate for this the management upgraded us to a suite and put a bottle of fizzy wine in our room. As others have stated both hotels are brilliantly located a couple of minutes from Trevi Fountain and in pedestrianised streets. It was an easy walk to many other tourist attractions and only a few mins walk to the nearest metro (Barbini) if you needed it. The staff were helpful and friendly and we had no problems with street noise from our room. Breakfast was good and consisted of everything most people would want!
Would certainly stay here again if we visit Rome again in the future.

We just came back from our Honeymoon, which we spent in Italy. We spent time in florence, Rome and Palermo. By far, and I do mean By far the nicest hotel of our trip was the New and contemporary design Hotel, HOTEL WHITE. We stayed in room 201 and the airconditioning was working perfectly, the room was by far the largest of the hotel, and was huge. I spent a lot of times in all kinds of hotels and this was definately a huge room. The check in was great, we received a bottle of champagne and were pleased and pampered our complete stay. DEFINETELY A HOTEL WHERE WE WOULD RETURN...TO ROOM 201

It is funny to read that some people are not agreeing with me, read below;), but they must have gone to a completely different Hotel...

We stayed 4 night at the Hotel White and found it a reasonable place to stay. The location is excellent, it really is only a 100 yards to the Trevi fountain, it's also a good location for the Metro and a short walk to the Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

The rooms was small but on a par for a European city hotel, the hotel was clean and the staff pleasant. The breakfast buffet was fine, a selection of pastries and rolls, cereals, yoghurts, meat and cheese and some hot bacon, sausage and eggs.

Overall this is a good base to stay in Rome,

We visited this hotel for my 50th birthday so did pay more than we normally would. We booked a twin room, which was ready for us on arrival and we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and despite only being 2 of us we had twin beds, TV & bathroom (toilet & washbasin) downstairs but stairs led us to a double bed, TV and bathroom (bidet, toilet washbasin & shower). All were pristine. Air conditioning was working, there was no noise from the street and the breakfast was very good. The reception were very friendly and helpful. The only criticisms are there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and one evening we would have liked a drink in the courtyard area but they did not serve hot drinks from the lounge bar and the fridge was not working for a cold beer - only shorts available. However, these were only minor issues for us. The location is excellent - we walked everywhere from the hotel with the exception of the Vatican which we were told by reception would take us an hour. Still not sure about that one - maybe Italians only stroll? :) The Trevi fountain is only a minute away and we were able to go there before breakfast and have our photo taken whilst there was no one else there - an impossibility during the day. We would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Rome.
