This place is great.The staff goes out of there way to help you,give you advice of local resturants in area.The room was wonderful plenty of room great products in bathroom.close to metro stop.Every evening in the bar area they would put out great little snacks and drink prices were very reasonable.internet was free.Trattoria Leoni d Abruzzo is a resturant down the sidewalk it is Great.It was our anniversy and the hotel sent up Champane and chocolates.It was just wonderful.This hotel needs to be more than a 3-star.A perfect hidden little gem.

I stayed at the Hotel Canada from May 23 through May 29. The hotel is lovely with a charming lobby and excellent rooms. Everything was sparkling clean. The beds were comfortable; the water was hot; the staff was helpful.

Breakfast offers a wide choice of fresh foods, ranging from good pastries to an array of fruits, with all sorts of protein in between.

The hotel is close enough to Termini that you can easily walk from the station to the hotel and avoid taxi fees. Yet it is far enough from Termini to avoid the noise and bustle. There are metro stops just around the corner.

I highly recommend this hotel and commend the staff for their excellent attitudes, upkeep and service.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The cleanliness of the rooms and staff were very friendly. Very comfortable and quiet location. There is no fridge but you can ask the staff for some ice and they gave me a whole bucket! Buffet breakfast in the morning is good with the usual Continental selection. The area around Termini is ok but hop on the Metro and in minutes you are in the thick of the centre.

The hotel is located next to Castro Pretorio Metro and if you are in Rome for a few days, the Roma Pass is best for travel, 23 Euros and you get unlimited travel on bus and metro for 3 days plus entry into 2 venues listed. This includes the Colloseum which otherwise would cost 9 Euros on its own and you have fast track entry without queuing. The pass can be bought in Termini on the side halfway up the platform away from the main foyer.

Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Centrally located just a few blocks from Termini. Smooth and efficent check-in although not standard check-in time. Standard room, well appointed, clean, quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Bar was a welcome haven after very hot and sticky Rome days. Fantastic measures served with complimentary snacks in late afternoon and evening. Prices unbelievable..have never none such value in a hotel bar, all drinks/snacks served with a cheery smile. easy access to Metro around corner (B line) while A line can be accessed either from here with a change of line or direct at Termini. Restaurants within proximity of hotel OK but not that special. Suggest you walk up Via Bachelet across Piazza Indipendza into Via Castelfidardo.Several good restaurants here... though avoid the tourist menu places....try Da Vincenza near the top of road or restaurant on other side of road (can't remember name but all waiters Indian) both serve good food and many locals eating so good recommendation. Don't beafraid to refuse obligatory bread...usually quite dry and you get charged whether you eat it or not unless you refuse it! Try the open top bus tours..red ones have 2 day passes and run every twenty minutes...easy to hop on hop off. Can honestly say have never stayed in a Best Western before that gave 5 star service for 3 star charge. Use Terravision transfer from airport... 8 euro return either online or at bus stop....don't buy bus tickets on Ryan Air as they charge double price for same transfer...rip off merchants!!
