I checked the hotel's website the date before we travelled (25th Oct) to make sure I understood the directions from the the Train station. The website continues to show a nice bar and lounge area and describes a breakfast room.
When we arrived we were sooo disappointed to find that renovation works were being carried out. We had not been informed. consequently, there is no lounge to relax in for a few minutes after a days sightseeing and walking. We had to keep asking for tea and coffee in our room, the cups were not changed daily nor was milk provided unless we kept asking.
Breakfast is in a restaurant across the street. Breakfast is fine but the restaurant often couldn't seat us straight away, it isn't big enough to accommodate everyone at the busiest time which seemed to be about 8.30 a.m. Also, the restaurant is very warm, make sure you go for breakfast in a t-shirt, otherwise you'll be uncomfortably hot.
Rooms were clean although the beds are VERY hard. Hotel would have been nice if all the advertised facilities were available. Needless to say I'm now going tp pursue Best Western for a partial refund.
I've indicated that I would recommend the hotel which I would but only after the renovation works have been completed.

We stayed at this hotel twice - once for a stopover and the second time for four nights. We were very unhappy with both experiences. The hotel staff at reception were rude and very unhelpful. The bed for our first night was terrible - it was lumpy and uneven (and very small). The shower heat was uneven (either warm or cold - never hot). We stayed in four other hotels during our Europe holiday and this was by far the worst (in fact the worst hotel I've ever stayed in).

This hotel in Rome is the best bang for your buck going. If you like to walk it is within a long walking distance of the downtown sites. It is located right off a subway line, 1 block.
It was by far the best value I found for Rome. The rooms were so clean, nice and modern. The breakfast was amazing and there was a really large food selection.

I stayed there for 3 nights with my wife and experience was not good. May be because I have been staying in marriotte and other good hotels. But if you get a deal very cheap and you do not bother about the room and tidyness and there is no harm in staying there. We had problem with bath tub and promised by the receptionest many times but no action taken.
