we have just returned from this hotel,howver we did not book to stay here.we had originally booked into it's sister hotel along the street at the "Siviglia".I did not like the look of this hotel from the outside due to the grafitti daubed on it and chose the tried and trusted "Siviglia".when we arrived at the "Siviglia"we were told that they were fully booked,even though I had made the reservation in August!.The "Fiamma"is definately not as good as the "Siviglia"and was quite shabby.My sister's room was dingy and we would of complained and got moved to another "Leonardi"chain hotel but the location is ideal for the "Termini".The breakfast was average but the staff were quite friendly and helpful.Electric sockets were hanging off the walls but it was clean and comfortable.Definately not as nice as the "Siviglia"but I am annoyed about our booking.If I was returning to Rome I would stay at the "Impero"hotel which is not far from the "Termini"and is on Via Viminale.

Went with my partner for a romantic weekend in Rome.
The city is absolutely amazing and we are very glad we went there however the hotel we were staying in gave us a bit of a stressful time. The room we were alocated to was ok, a bit smaller than we were expecting but we werent complaining until we opened the drink fridge: there was a half empty bottle of white wine and emty bottle of water. We took this to the reception and explained that it wasn't ours but they weren't very happy and were trying to charge us for it - of course we refused to pay.
After spending the whole day in town and coming back completely exhausted we were told by the reception that there is no water in our room and somebody was coming to fix it - it was 11:45pm!
We went back to our room and waited for about 30 minutes for somebody to come and sort our water problem but nobody did so we went back to the reception asking to be moved to a different room when only then we were told that the problem with water is actually in the every room... We asked if we could at least get a bottle of water to wash our face and hands but there was apparently no of that available either!!! It took a long time before they decided to give us 2 little bottles of water which were then added to our bill!!! Again we refused to pay.
During breakfast there was always only one person serving tea and coffee so we never actually got it with our breakfast, long time after we finished...
Do not ask reception to order you a taxi to the airport - they will tell you it will be 40 euros but you pay 60!!!
Wish we have never booked this hotel...

this hotel good for the budget contious,we were welcomed warmly by the receptionist,the rooms were clean,if a little small,we had a disabled guest with us,the first few stairs were a bit difficult to negotiate but from there the lift got us to our floor,breakfast continental was good.and staff friendly.Also the hotel is close to the metro,and tour buses,overall we all thought the hotel adequate for our needs,

This was the worst hotel I EVER stayed at! The room was tiny, the door handle to our room was broken, there was no heater in the room (or it was broken), and there was a huge hole in our wall!
As for the bathrooms, the shower and sink were tiny, there was mold all over the shower, the towels had holes all over them, and there was NO HOT WATER!! It may not matter in the summer so much, but when the heater in the room is broken and you are traveling in the middle of January, it's COLD! ... Well, there was hot water for about 1 minute, then it shut off. We asked the people at the front desk if there is a problem with our room, and they informed us there were too many tourists and everyone is having the same problem and there is nothing they can do about it. Thanks a lot. I was ready to leave.
The only plus is it is close to Termini. ...but I would rather walk 10 blocks farther than stay here!!

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I would not stay there again if someone paid me to stay there!!
