This was my second stay at Hotel Genio. The first was fine--decent room. Great location. The second was completely awful. I stayed for a week and thought given that other hotels had offered me reduced rates, the Genio would at least give me a decent room. I knew the staff would be surly as they were last time but given that I was there a week, the room was most important. They gave me a much smaller room than my last visit and when I asked to move they gave me a slightly bigger room but the bathroom had only half of a shower door. Needless to say the bathroom flooded when I showered. There was mold and mildew all over the bathroom. There were dust balls hanging off the walls. The chair in the bedroom had stains all over it. When I asked to have the shower door replaced they promised they would or they would move me. They never did either and they had a week! The staff acted like the guests were a complete burden to them. Would not stay there again.
