“Good value for money in good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

Hotel in quiet area ten minute walk from station with plenty of places to eat nearby. Was impressed with room had big bed, large fluffy towels and shutters to darken and quieten room. Breakfast was adequate only minor point being that for breakfast juice there were only plastic cups.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room

This hotel is an easy walk from the train station, yet in a quite area. The room was quite small and the elevator was the tiniest one I have ever seen. The room was clean, quite, and met our needs as we were being tourist and were happy to have a nice soft bed when we returned. The price was in line with the other hotels we researched, but I think the quite location was a bonus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with a short visit to Rome.

the price was very reasonable except for the extra 3 euros now added per person per night city tax had no idea this was now law in rome. The hotel was in an excellent location 10 mins walk from the termini. lots of bars and restaurants locally. hotel was not good though. staff were miserable and unhelpful. room was unbelievably hot - no air con this was november. the breakfast was the worst food i have ever experienced in any hotel it was cheap, nasty, poor quality pseudo coffee and fruit juice never tasted anything so awful. would definately not recommend this hotel to anyone. although most hotels in Rome can be diar.

Room Tip: dont go during may and november you will die of the heat as rooms have no working aircon. windows op...

Stayed the weekend from 9-12 Nov.
We found the hotel to be friendly, staff very helpful on arrival. Our room was on the 5th floor and was very clean, looked like it had just had a new bathroom fitted.
We could walk to all the sights, would definitely recommend staying at this hotel

we stopped at the artdeco for a short city break from 6-9 nov, we found the hotel to be perfect for our requirements.

we had a room on the 5th floor, the lift up to the 4th and 5th floor is very small, we only just managed to get in with one suitcase.

The room itself was just your normal standard hotel room, although we did find the bed and pillows to be rather hard. There wasn't any tea/coffee making facilities in the room either, there was a fridge/mini bar (drinks paid for on checkout). There was also an electronic safe for valuables.

The Staff were very helpful and friendly.

breakfast was ok(ish). scrambled eggs and bacon. Bread rolls with cheese and ham. cereal, yoghurt. croissants. fruit.

The hotel is situated in an area with several foreign embassies nearby which made it feel safer. There is a sex-cinema around the corner, but we didnt go in so can't comment on the quality of the films !!!!

All in all it was the perfect place for a few days sightseeing, close to Termini (10 mins walk). I would recommend getting a METRO day ticket or 3 day ticket as all the historical sights are only a short walk from a metro station.

Top tip for women - dont make the mistake my partner did by only taking 4inch stilletto heels, virtually every road is cobbled, and you will do plenty of walking !!!!!

The friendly front desk staff made our stay at the Art Deco especially terrific. They coudnt help enough with all our queries. The room was comfortable with some lovely artwork and plenty of storage and cupboard room. The lift was tiny but did the job. The Wi Fi in the front foyer was free and accessible and the included buffet breakfast was yummy every day. The Art Deco may not be in the centre of things but this meant quiet peaceful nights. The closeby Pharmacy, supermarket and banking facilities made this hotel in a good location for our needs. Can highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Avoid below ground level.

Many varied reviews on this one, we found it to be clean, good position, staff were helpful, although did not like smiling. Breakfast had eggs and bacon, however, just had continental
We walked to all areas from here, stayed 3 nights and would stay again
