We were given a Deluxe Room of a good size, nice bed, nice decoration but with an overall impression of fakeness though... Bathroom was excellent, with a shower and a bath, all marble and spotless. The room was on the street side and I found it noisy at night with a constant traffic. I was a bit annoyed by the Sultana raisin left on the carpet during the whole stay (3 nights)... proof that there is no daily hoover of the carpets... disappointing for a 5 stars! Staff at reception was efficient but indifferent. Staff at breakfast was very pleasant. Breakfast was very very good as a matter of fact with a large choice (and it was included in my room rate). Overall I would say that for 400 eur per night, I didn't get the 5 stars feeling.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We booked an imperial room and were delighted to discover that we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival. The lady at the front desk, Gloria, is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! Gloria, you need some rest because you work WAAAAAAAY too long of a day. Seeing here at 7 am, 5 pm, 9 pm...absolutely amazing. The room was absolutely gorgeous! However, where they dropped the ball was with the "butler service" that we got with the room. Since it was our honeymoon, we thought it was so cool to have something like this type of service. However, the "in room, personal wake up" DOESN"T exist, because we tried to get this two times and both times we just got a phone call. It wouldn't be a problem, but since it was printed in the brochure that was on our bed, we thought that it should have been offered. Also, when we ordered coffee, tea, and pastries, the butler brought the coffee, tea bags, pastries..but didnt bring hot water or a teapot...HOW DO YOU HAVE TEA WITHOUT IT? Upon calling, they brought the hot water, but no tea pot. It just seemed like that they just didn't care. We didn't call them often, so maybe thats what the problem was. Other than this issue, the hotel is very nice. The restaurant is amazing, although expensive. The service there was great, and all the employees at the restaurant were great, I would recommend this hotel, but dont get your hopes up if you get a room with a butler included. The room service was faster and better than him.

We've stayed here twice and the hotel has on both occasions exceeded our expectations. Rooms, Serivce, and Food is truly five star and worth the price compared to other options in Rome. The hotel is an elegant palace, each room is unique and tastefully decoarated with classical art. The staff is eager to go out of their way in a quite professional way. Yes you will pay a price that is well worth the quality you will receive.
