Location is perfect (only a block from Metro and lies on major cross-streets for taxis).
Service is amazing! Response time of butler was prompt, concierge team was responsive and spot-on for suggestions, and bartender was warm and welcoming after a long day of city touring. All lived up to the reputation of St. Regis.
Ammenities were typical St. Regis. Our room was upgraded to a large imperial room; quite spacious. Our friends had two other deluxe style rooms, and they also were quite spacious. The only complaint I would have is that there could be some renovations to the property to remove the very outdated decor. The property has a pleasant old-world decor, but a slight updating would benefit the property and lighten the feel.
The recent pricing change of the property (10-15% increase in Starwood points required for stay) is not appropriate in comparison to other Italian Starwood properties.
