My husband & I have stayed at the St. Regis in Rome twice together, & he once by himself on business in December.
This hotel is world class 5 star from the accommodations, spa, food, and most of all the service. We experienced the warm delightful welcome of the reception area each time & the concierge after check in & during our whole stay. Guest services was also very accommodating, friendly & always there to assist. The bar service in the lounge was friendly & made great suggestions not only to us but other guests that were enjoying the beauty of the area. Food is wonderful, breakfast buffet is very good. Lots of choices for European's & North American's alike. Room service is quick, hot & served with a smile. Rooms are very comfortable, beds are amazing (so much that one doesn't want to get out). Bellman & doorman are attentive & right on the spot to ensure transportation is only steps away. A special thanks to the concierge staff. While on route from Canada my first stay at the hotel I arrived a day & a half late due to weather delays...minus one of my checked bags. The concierge were fabulous & followed up on my bag with the airline & kept me updated all the time. Delivery was immediate to my room upon its arrival...a day & a half late, but no fault of the hotel, only the airline.
The hotel itself is magical. Immaculately kept, beautiful, grand & all the things one thinks of when you dream of Roma. Both staff & management ensure everyone is treated like a king & queen.
The St. Regis will be our home away from home from now on as we return to Roma for business & pleasure.
