Very close to termini and easy to find. We were greeted very warmly by the young Asian front desk clerk who helped us through the front door, and as we were early for check in guided us to free tea & coffee and a pastry in the lounge area whilst we waited to be checked in.
When we went to reception there was 1 stocky young man with a moustache who TOTALLY ignored us and to whom customer service is an alien concept. He was asked to serve us by a colleague who was with another guest but unbelievably STILL ignored us! Our Asian clerk then took over with some embarrassment. This was the only bad experience as the rest of the staff were truly excellent on front desk and at breakfast. Can only surmise this rude guy is related to management!
The room was very well decorated, clean and comfortable. Whilst tea & coffee is available downstairs we would prefer tea & coffee making facilites in our room. Even B & Bs we stayed in all over Italy had this facility. Our room faced the busy street and it was noisy at night, the area is quite rough. Need ear plugs. Suggest asking for a room away from the street.
The bathroom was excellent with a good shower over the bath.
The breakfasts were really good and included in the price of the room which was 140 euros. Plenty of choice and good quality. A good choice hotel in the Termini area.
