“Could not expect better service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

We stayed at Napoleon Hotel for 4 nights in July.

The hotel is closed to the train station (10 minutes walk) and the coliseum.(10-15 minutes walk).

The room was nice, clean and add everything we needed.
The breakfast is very good. Buffet with a lot of choices and in abundance. Good service
The hotel in general is very clean and surprisingly big. Doesn't look that way from the outside.
The location was good for us as we walk from the train station. It's not the perfect location if you want to be in the middle of all the attractions. What we're found as a trick was to get the Sightseeing tour bus tickets for 3 days. The closest stop isn't really far and the bus can drop you off around almost all good attraction in the historical downtown.

Where the Hotel Napoleon distinguish itself from the other, is the unbelievable service at the front desk. The concierge there happened to be full of resources and help us out a lot. They recommended us good restaurant and quick ways to go at someplace we wanted to go. On our last day, we had to leave VERY early. They took the time of set the arrangement and have a breakfast with coffee ready for us at like 5am. The called the taxi and told us what would be the route and cost of it so we don't have any surprise. The gave us good tips on how to reach our next destination (Siena) to avoid loosing transportation time.

All this to say, it's a nice hotel with good food and with a impeccable service.

A+

This hotel is about 10 minuets walk from the main Terminal train station, the area is a bit dodgy but the hotel itself is lovely. The staff were happy to help. On arrival I was handed a map of Rome with the hotels location marked on it, This proved very useful. Breakfast was served in the morning with a great selection of food and drinks. The room was spacious with everything I needed.

Great service, even got a free bottle of bubbly on the evening of my birthday. The included breakfast was sensational. Room was cool thanks to the air con, cosy but welcoming. The beer and food prices at the bar/restaurant were good, as was the quality of the meals. We missed the wine tasting, but the barman happily gave us a free drink later on, much appreciated. Roberto was very helpful on a number of occasions. Location is good, metro stop just outside and the Colosseum is within a short walking distance. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would consider returning again.

This hotel was a good find in Rome, although a little distant from some of the main sights, it is very well serviced by the subway, allowing easy transport to the sights. The staff are helpful and friendly.

We were here twice during our time in Italy, the first room we stayed in was vastly inferior to the second, with an airconditioner that did not fully function. Perhaps specifically ask for a better room?

The hotel restaurant is probably not the best value for money, but they were kind enough to serve me the food in the lobby in front of the world cup final.

We can recommend this hotel. We had complimentary wine tasting (and talking) on the Friday evening which were awesome. Breakfast is good with lots of fresh fruit and warm buffet . Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite small but clean and quiet.

This hotel has very friendly & helpful staff, keen to please on getting around Rome & what to see. We also had some very good evening meals with some of the largest prawns, I have ever seen & at a realistic price, would stay here again.

Very nice staf in all the hotel who are very helpful with a smile. The hotelier Roberto Cioce is a wonderful person who was engaged in the meetings "vinetasting" and "summer punsch", witch was free. The food was so good. Cleaning of the room very good.
If we go back too Rom we will stay at the same Place.

Room Tip: Silent rooms not located at the street Good cleened
