“Convenient, clean and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

Except for small room, our 3 night stay was great. The desk staff was quite helpful with dining recommendations, directions and suggestions for attractions. Nice breakfast included as well as free WiFi. Location close to Termini - the main train station. A Metro station is right outside the front door. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: Pre-check the location, especially proximity to Metro.

This hotel suffers of space, but then again, we are in Rome, so difficult to complain.
I liked the good mattresses and the rather friendly front desk, but rooms are very small and the breakfast is cheaply done, you get charged for real orange juice, while the one from the package is much to sweet and free, juck! A top notch capuccino also seems to be a problem, or maybe it was just not their day.

its ok, but not more, and then consider, that there are a few worse places around, too.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at The Napoleon, despite it being in a area where most shops are Asian , it was good. The Metro is right outside the hotel and very easy.
Watch out for pickpockets on the Metro ..they are rife.
We had a great stay and would recommend the hotel
Dayne and Rossana - Perth Australia

Room Tip: May want to stay closer to town as the area is very Asian. Great staff and helpfulness.

We spent 5 nights here, chosen as we wanted a very quiet room and were not disappointed. Who needs a view from the bedroom when Rome is so wonderful to look at? Comfortable, air conditioned , good breakfast, large lounge area with internet access and a bar ( happy hour on 2 nights!). We only tried the restaurant once but found excellent food and service. But the main delight was the staff who spoke English, were friendly , trained well and helpful.

Very well run hotel, ideally situated (for us) between Termini Station and the Colosseum. Bedrooms are clean and blissfully quiet, although you need to be aware they face inwards so you won't get a view. There is a lovely large lounge containing old paintings and plenty of seating areas, at the side of which are two computers giving free internet access - the best access throughout our holiday. Extremely generous and wide-ranging buffet breakfast (although fresh orange juice costs a bit extra). Management and staff are incredibly helpful and hard-working. We loved it here and would definitely return. However, if you prefer a modern style, the old-fashioned charm of this hotel may not appeal.

Location location location! The metro station in directly outside the hotel's front door and it goes anywhere you might want to to see. It's within walking distance of the main railroad terminal (about 6 blocks). The front desk staff is extremely helpful and speak English if you struggle with Italian. The free breakfast is plenty to get your day started. The rooms were pretty good size for european standards and very clean. I am already looking forward to staying here on our next trip.
