Hotel Regno is in an excellent location. Easy distance to the Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, the Colosseum etc.

We found the hotel to be clean, friendly and very functional. Good directions and advice given at reception.

Our room was on the 3rd floor and had a great view over the Via Corsa, including a small balcony. Perhaps the rooms at the rear of the building maybe not so good. The room however, did have very thin walls.

It has no lounge area as such but as Rome has so much to offer we didn't want to spend time in the hotel.

Breakfast was adequate and if you are not too late in dining had lots of variety.

We booked via BA, and our four night stay with breakfast was at the same rate as a travel inn in the UK.Marvelous value.

Excellent value.

We stayed at the Regno for 3 nights at the end of our holiday. The people at check in were friendly and helpful.

The position of the Hotel is perfect for both shopping and sightseeing. The Hotel itself is a bit of a rabbit warren with a lot of steps, but our room was quiet and the beds were extremely comfortable. The furnishings were new and elegant and the room was very comfortable.

The breakfast room was busy as some others have mentioned, but we always found a table. Some rooms opened off the breakfast room and I should think they must have been noisy.

All in all, it was much better than 2 stars and I would stay there again, especially for the position, right on the Via Corso.

I stayed at this Hotel in October 2008 for 3 nights. Whilst the location is good , I'm sure you could find better accommodation for the price in the same area. The room - single - was adequate but the shower was a shower base with a curtain which meant the floor flooded each time it was used. The staff were disinterested to the point of being rude.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Regno and would definitely return there. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We had booked only a standard room and received a terrace room with beautiful views facing out over the Via del Corso. The room itself was extremely roomy and clean with nice furnishings and the bathroom was immaculate - far better than other comparable hotels we had previously stayed at in Rome. The only complaint is that the room was slightly warmer than we would have liked (even with the air-conditioning on high) however in comparison to other hotels we visited in Europe this was not too bad and there were plenty of windows which could be opened.

The location of the hotel is fantastic - close to both shopping and tourist attractions, but despite being on a main road we found the room to be extremely quiet. We will definitely stay at the Regno again when next in Rome.
