Been to this hotel as a part of Etihad Holiday Packages in July 2014. Decent & Well maintained hotel. Two things stand out during our stay, First is its location which is just few walking steps away from Metro, Italy Rail. Second is their Breakfast Buffet.

Stayed July 2014, traveled as a couple

Was there during a business meeting for 3 days. The hotel is conveniently located near the railroad station "stazione Termini" (where also the express train to/from Fiumicino Airport leaves every 30 minutes) and is also at walking distance from other interesting areas in Rome. Since the organization I was a guest of chose this hotel for me, I was a bit hesitant as its location close to the station made me suspicious of a somewhat neglected environment. Instead, the hotel is in a safe area and offers excellent comfort. Rooms are extremely clean and quite wide, carefully and elegantly furnished, well isolated from the road noise. The personnel is helpful and friendly, the breakfast luxurious. Internet connection is free (not common in Italy!). You cannot go wrong!

A "business style" hotel in a hotel area close to the main railway station. A quiet, clean, spacious room with proper beds. A clean bathroom with a bathtub (however, a shower curtain is never a good option). A warm and dry room (even though the air-con was off) in December. Breakfast had a good selection but also empty serving dishes. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel location was great due to the proximity of the main train station, shopping areas and tourist attractions.

Room Tip: Rooms in the quad side are without any street noise (but with a steady A/C hum) but with no view.

Location, convenience and good value for money
As expected, this Metropole has lived up to its name. Have tried many Metropole in other parts of the world and it has never let us down. The room is very spacious with a super kingsize bed. Bathroom is also very big with all the amenities provided. Breakfast is fantastic with a lot of varieties.

Decided to have a late booked two night stay in Rome. Arrived late on Friday and very warmly greeted by the reception staff. Checkin very easy and on arriving in room , found it to be spacious, clean and large. Also very quiet, which is great for Rome.

Breakfast was OK (Bacon was burnt) but a good selection of food.

The location was excellent, about 5 minutes from station. We like to walk, so found the hotel fairly well located for us. Others might want to be nearer the sites, but this hotel was fine.

I would definitely stay again.

While we stayed here only briefly, we have thoroughly enjoyed the central location of this brilliant hotel. Everything was beyond expectations. From the moment you check in to the moment you check out, you can only expect sheer brilliance.

Staff is polite and extremely knowledgeable. The hotel location is few minutes walk from Termini central railway station, Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, etc. It's all walking distance.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Bed was extremely comfortable and it almost made me extend my stay.

Highly recommend this hotel for business and leisure. You won't regret it.
