This is a very straight-forward no-frills business hotel. I have stayed at least 50 nights so I have some experience.

The location is perfect, although there is nothing to do in this area other than working. Between Rome and the airport. Huge taxi station nearby, so taxis are easy to get. Complementary shuttle to airport and Rome, although the schedule is not increadibly intense. If you have a rental car, there is never a problem finding a lot outside the hotel.

The breakfast is decent. Part of it is good, part of it so-so.

The rooms are big, but the bathrooms slightly dated. Not a big problem, though.

All-in-all this is my goto hotel in Rome. It has nothing but still everything. It is just another Holiday Inn, but for some reason I have always liked it here. Guess its the location that makes it simple to get to and simple to leave.

This hotel does not offer an unforgettable experience per se. Its just another hotel, but its convenient.

I'll probably be back quite a few times.

Big and noisy. Rooms are quite large with paper thin walls.
Bar is great and drinks are very expensive ($12 for a gin and tonic). Thought it was near the airport and that's why we chose it, but still cost us Forty Euro to get there. While they have a shuttle, it doesn't start up until 7 a.m. So scratch early flights. Does have a huge swimming pool. The staff was pleasant.

With just a few tweaks this could be a better hotel. We selected it because a friend liked it and because it offered a free bus to the airport. We found it ordinary and expensive. The front desk staff was made up of beautfiul people, but they were kinda air-headed. We asked for non-smoking, went to our room and discovered it was a smoking room. We went back to the desk and finally got what we'd asked for. The hotel restaurant pasta was gummy (imagine! in Italy, gummy pasta) and the general quality of the place was not what we found elsewhere in Italy. The bar staff was condescending and not helpful. The bus to the airport was on time and provided excellent service. The Internet service provided by the hotel via Swiss-Air was expensive and didn't work. When the hotel person attempted to assist us (printer didn't work) she had to call Swiss-Air to get us a credit for the cost (we'd tried to print boarding passes). Once again: hotels should give free wireless service.

old hotel - poor condition, but local to several businesses.

The Sheraton Golf is very close and I would rather stay there but it is always heavily booked.

Anyway - the hotel is acceptable standard but not good.

Restaurant is funny (ha ha), not sure what to say about it really!
