We stated here for Easter from Good Friday to Easter Monday and would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We e-mailed the hotel to ask the best way to get there from the airport and they advised taxi at about 45 Euros, but we easily found it by getting the Terravision Bus from outside the airport (tickets cheaper from their rep outside the airport than on the Easyjet flight) 8 euros return, to the Termini about 30-45 mins depending on traffic. Then the Metro line a 5 stops to Lepanto 1 euro. Then 5 min walk. Hotel is in a quiet residential street, yet suprisingly close to the Vatican City and other sights. We walked everywhere quite easily. Nice, clean rooms with large bathroom. Very good breakfast buffet, although very busy anytime after 8.45am. DId the Big Red Bus Tour but wouldn't particularly recommend it because most of the time the buses were full and it was difficult to get on, but maybe it was just because it was busier at Easter. Our highlight was unexpectedly seeing the Pope at very close range when he slowly drove past in the car with the window open! Plenty of eateries and ice-cream shops close by. Strangely for a tourist city, there is a distinct lack of tourist information about, so would suggest buying a good guide book before you go. We definately recommend this hotel.
