My party used 3 rooms for 6 nights. We were told by staff upon arrival, not to leave anything unattended at our breakfast table because of security issues. What an introduction that was. Also on the first day, in one of the rooms that was rented to us, the toilet had overflowed prior to our arrival and the bathroom was wet with the overflow. Management response was "the hotel is full, we will change your room tomorrow". No attempt to offer compensation, not even a bottle of wine was made.
On the last 2 days, the elevator was out of service. Our 3 room were on the 5th floor. Again, no attempt to offer compensation was made. A bottle of water from the stocked refrigerator gratis, would have been appreciated on one of our trips up and down those stairs. On the last day, we all had to carry our luggage down the 5 floors at 6 AM because luggage staff did not arrive until 7 AM.
Finally, the breakfast was poor quality. Coffee was cool, the staff offered no assistance at all and table cloths were not clean for our breakfast.
I think compensation for these problems IS STILL appropriate.
Thank you

My friend and I wanted to have a girlfriend getaway to Rome for 3 days and we found this hotel through a travel website. Our husbands warned us that the low price meant it would be a pretty bad place, but we decided to risk it. We were really happy with the hotel. They were expecting us when we arrived and we were greeted cheerfully and quickly. The view from the room was good: it overlooked a busy street where we could see the hustle and bustle of the city. The bathroom was clean with plenty of soap and fresh towels. The front desk recommended a restaurant around the corner for lunch which was delicious, inexpensive and friendly and we ended up eating there twice. We were very close to the Vatican and lots of restaurants and stores. It was an easy walk across the Tiber River into the ancient part of the city, and the metro that brought us back was not far from the hotel. The metro was really crowded and we would not recommend it as a primary way to travel. The Big Bus Tour was much more comfortable. We were exhausted at the end of each day and the beds were nice and comfy. Breakfast was good--nothing fancy, but an easy way to start the day. We would definitely come back to this hotel with our families or on another getaway holiday with a friend. We would want something more upscale if we came on a romantic holiday with our husbands.

We (myself, my wife, my brother, and his wife) stayed at this hotel for three nights while we were in Rome. We booked this hotel becuase we were able to secure a good rate for a single room with 4 beds in it. The location was great. The hotel was set in a very clean area and also very quiet at night. The hotel was a five minute walk or so from the metro (Octavianio I believe was the stop on the Red Line). It was also only 5 minutes from the Vatican and from St. Peter's Square.

The hotel room was clean and had very high ceilings. The air conditioning worked extremely well. We had to wait a little when we checked in but we were then ushered to our 2nd floor room. One of the best things about this hotel was the buffet breakfast that was included in the rate. It was very plentiful and had lots of different foods for all of us.

A lot of the main attractions for Rome were a lengthy walk (a couple of miles or so) but very nice to do if the weather is good. It's really nice to see Rome by foot. If you're not up for walking you can take a short 5 minute walk to the metro and ride it to Termini and walk from there or to other stops. We occasionally rode the metro (1 Euro each ride) and had very little difficutly navigating throughout the city. We did noticed that the red line seemed more filled with tourists while the blue line seemed filled with more locals.

This was the first of 5 hotels on our recent trip to Italy. I found it to be adequate and clean. It was an easy walk from the Ottaviani metro stop and near the Vatican. Our room was a little larger than the average Italian hotel room and had good closet storage. I would stay here again, although I might look for something closer to Termini station just for travel convenience.

What an excellent Hotel! My friend and I stayed for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. The hotel was well located, 5 minute walk to the metro, 5 minute walk to St. Peters.

I have to commend the staff, they are the friendliest hotel staff I have ever dealt with.

Rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean. Great breakfast and I especially loved the coffee.

Great market across the street from the hotel which supplied fresh fruit, veg, bread, hams and cheeses. Any amount of great restaurants nearby very reasonably priced. Also great shops as well.

Would recommend this hotel and will stay here again if I return to Rome.
