myself and my husband stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. we very much enjoyed our stay. we had room 310 which was to the side so didnt have traffic noise but there was a bit from the irish bar below. but the noise didnt last long at one time. we didnt spend long in the room so it didnt matter that the room was not big. the toilet was very close to the sink, but all was very clean and soap replaced every day (unexpected). we did have a few ants visiting each day, but only about 6 at one time, so just got rid of them. bed was comfortable nd sheets were changed after 2nd day. also lovely clean thick towels issued every day.
staff in the hotel very helpful. at reception, managed to get a smile from the man at reception by asking for our key each day by saying the room no. in italien (well as best we could) he seemed to appreciate it! it wasnt a problem comin in at all hours! (everyone wanders about till really late). going up in the lift was a bit scary(barely enogh room for 2 people)
on the whole we would stay there again if in rome as ideal for all tourist sights. lovely breakfast room. but my husband was dissapointed with the coffee,we didnt think to ask for fresh from staff. the hot chocolate from the machine was good. lots to choose from to eat. had brown and white continental rolls( brown not always supplied at other european hotels) the coissants were lovely, and small pastries were good too. there were different jams and also honey. we were sufficiently full to only buy a small snack at lunch time then have a good meal at night from nearby restaurants.
overall a good place to stay, we paid 360 euros for 4 nights which we felt was worth it, booked through KLM with our flights.
