I read some mixed reviews before staying here, but it was really good and I'd definitely recommend it.
The location is excellent, slap bang in the middle of Rome, close to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. We walked everywhere, and enjoyed being able to wander into town and walk home easily and safely at any time of night. I'd definitely recommend staying centrally instead of by the train station.
It is on a busy, main road, but our room was at the side and the double glazing cuts out all the noise. The room was clean, nice and a good size. Staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English.
Our room had air-con (a necessity in the summer heat!) and a plasma sky tv.
Breakfast was typical continental, with juice, water or tea/coffee to drink, bread, pastries, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, basic cereal, jams - we were quite happy. I can't think of anything bad to say about it, except it's maybe not quite 4 star by Uk standards, but great nonetheless.
